55Very cool spot. Nice to give my dog a chance at an off leash hike
45The instructions to the path were a little confusing which may be due to the spot being very overgrown. The "tractor" is up to the right - you don't cross the riverbed and you ignore the sniffspot sign which points left. We did go that way (flowing the sniffspot directions) and couldn't continue on the path as it was very overgrown, steep, and/or felt like the earth would fall away underfoot. So we back-tracked to the start and followed the forest trail pathway off and up to the right and had a little bit better of a time, but again, it was so overgrown we weren't able to make a full loop. We reached out to the host for guidance to no avail and we also saw another person with their dog off-leash, so keep that in mind if you have reactive doggos (or just don't like random dog interactions). Host should make a note of that for their listing.
55Wonderful spot! It is my dog's absolute favorite adventure. The terrain can get steep at some times as a warning, but the steepness is my dog's favorite part of this place--she LOVESSS climbing and jumping up steep portions. We did not encounter any wildlife other than maybe a few lizards. My dog is incredibly nervous around loud noises and unfamiliar places, but this place is super secluded and quiet and my dog has had no issues opening up and exploring! :) Robin is also an amazing & responsive host.

Host replied: We are working out the bugs of our trails, it can be a bit more steep and exploratory than some people are used to but the feedback helps us. Because of it being un-fenced there can be some surprises and one of the other Sniffspot people wandered over to say hi from the neighboring mountain.
