55Beautiful area! Fence was in great condition, and kept my dog from being able to fully chase down a deer on the other side. Open brushland/light shade at the beginning and then a small loop in the woods. Very thankful for the hose at the parking area too. Will definitely come back next time I'm in the area :)

55Lovely trail!! Our great dane had a great time and we also loved walking the loop. Everything is very clearly marked and easy to find. The little splash ponds are an awesome bonus on hot summer days. Host was lovely and communication was great. Will definitely visit here again!

SafeK9’s fully fenced forested private park & trail is located on over 40 acres of land nestled between the two beautiful Georgian Bayside towns of Midland and Penetanguishene. Here your dog will get all the intriguing sniffs they desire! Regularly hiked by our SafeK9 daycare clientele, our private dog park & trail will keep your dog’s nose and mind busy. After all, mental stimulation is just as important as exercise for a happy and healthy dog! Hot day? Dog need a dip? They can splish, splash and meet the frogs in one of the 2 ponds located trailside. We believe every dog deserves their time to run and frolic without the restriction of a leash. We are blessed to be able to provide that opportunity to you and your dog to bond without the stress of running into other pooches and people. *Please drive slowly past the house on your drive into our Sniffspot. *Please don’t allow your dog(s) to run towards the back area of the house from the parking lot. Dog daycare is in session. *Please close the big sliding gate when arriving and leaving. *NO SMOKING of any kind is permitted ON THE PROPERTY *Please “stick’n flick” your dog’s poop off the main trails. Thanks! *Please wait for your scheduled time and for the guest ahead of you to leave before exiting your vehicle. *Please be respectful of the time, and leave promptly for the next guest. (The entire trail loop takes 45-60 mins depending on your walking pace). *Please be respectful and take any personal trash/garbage/recycling with you when you leave. *Don’t forget a towel!! Fallen trees sometimes happen after wind storms (host will notify you if you have an upcoming reservation and the fence has been compromised), uneven ground, wild animals that may be spotted - wild turkeys, deer, mink, groundhogs, porcupines, squirrels, frogs, and chipmunks. Bug repellent and flea and tick preventatives highly recommended. Please be sure to comb your dog over for ticks after your hike. "Important: All Prices are in USD" NOT SMALL DOG APPROPRIATE The Sniff spot area is located at the back of my property. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. To access that area just drive off the paved driveway onto the dirt road and into the woods. Parking is near the sniffspot gate. There are chairs and a cooler with water for dogs and a water bowl is provided. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.

"Important: All Prices are in USD" NOT SMALL DOG APPROPRIATE The Sniff spot area is located at the back of my property. Where there is a 6 foot tall fence so that dogs are secure even in the winter with a few feet of snow on the ground. To access that area just drive off the paved driveway onto the dirt road and into the woods. Parking is near the sniffspot gate. There are chairs and a cooler with water for dogs and a water bowl is provided. I just recently set this up as family friends recommended I try it, so please be patient as I improve things to make it more guest friendly. Hope your four legged friends enjoy it as much as my dogs do.
