Wildlife is common here, including deer, pheasants, gophers, and other small animals. Our own dogs frequently surprise a pheasant hiding in the grass, so dogs that love using their noses will have plenty to investigate. Because we maintain much of the acreage in its natural state, you’ll encounter tall grasses, native vegetation, burrs, seeds, uneven terrain, and changing conditions throughout the seasons. Gophers are also very active here, which means there are gopher mounds and holes throughout the property. Please watch your footing while exploring, and consider whether the terrain is appropriate for dogs or people with mobility concerns. We recommend doing a quick paw and coat check for burrs before heading home. Opportunity Woods offers 5+ acres of hilly woods and long grass meadow surrounded by a secure 6 foot fence. Several benches are placed along the rustic trails, but of course, there is no need to stay on a trail! A water bowl can be found and filled from the human-potable water hydrant, where you will also find a wading pool for dog and human use in summer. There is a roofed picnic/shade shelter just up the hill from the hydrant. Take in the serene view of the surrounding area, and get a birdseye view of Opportunity Farm, where sheep graze the nearby paddocks. Wire-wheel tables and chairs are available for relaxing, hanging out with your dog, having a picnic, a birthday party with your dog's pals or watching a dramatic rising or setting of a full moon. Furry Friends 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Oasis In Woodbury

Great open space for all dogs and humans. We have a full acre fenced and then have a whole front/side yard partially fenced, with gate access from the 1 acre. We have 4-5 feet of woods the dogs can roam through. We are currently working on making a trail through the woods so you can go on the adventure with your pup. There is a kiddy pool, with towels to dry off, a dogo splash pad. There are 3 water drinking bowls throughout the yard for the dogs. We have some toys for kids and dogs. We have doggie first aid if needed. We have chairs out for the humans so plenty of seating. We have Umbrellas as well if need for sun or shade. Hose is always accessible to guest. Unfortunately right now M-F 6-3pm there is construction happening behind the property, out of owners control sorry.

Walter & Leroys Ridge- 3 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Cambridge

3 acres of full fenced area that can be closed off into separate areas (ie: main yard around the house, side yard, and lower pasture) or you can have it completely open and connected to all areas. There are cut and maintained trails in the lower pasture and then many smaller trail systems created by the deers and the dogs. In the summer it is buggy and there are ticks- particularly in the wooded area. I’m working on getting some tiki torches that can be lit when people are exploring the lower pasture. I’ll try and keep some bug spray and a lighter by the entrance to the lower pasture. During July-August is when the horse flies are the worst. Things to know about horse flies- they are attracted to shiny items (the sun hitting a car, rings, watches, dark hair). When it’s hot out, they like to be in the shade and when it’s cooler in the mornings they like to be in the sun. They aren’t deterred by citronella like mosquitos. If you have a dark haired dog I highly recommend using “swat” and applying some to their ears & top of their head, it’s the only thing that keeps them away from my GSD. I will try and keep a container of swat by the entrance to the lower pasture- make sure to wash your hands after applying it. There is also an additional acre-ish in the “arena” that your welcome to explore, however it is partially/poorly fenced and it is connected to the area where the goat pasture is, so if your dog has poor recall or issues with livestock it would be best to keep them on a long line if your going out there.
