55Great spot! Some mud but nothing terrible, lots of room to play- we lost a ball ;) pup and us are very happy! Will revisit!
55Great forest spot for new smells and wondering around. Definitely bring mud boots if you go by the water.
55Beautiful area, very clean. As long as you read the directions it’s not too hard to find! My boy had a blast and I’ll definitely be going back! Do keep in mind that there is no fencing, at least not any that I could see.
35The spot was nice and we enjoyed ourselves. The only problem I had is no communication with the host. I messaged the host as soon as I booked the appointment letting her know it was my first time and I wanted to add on a guided tour that she offers. I never received a message back so me and my dog just kinda winged it. The second time I messaged her was an hour before our booked time was over. I asked her how I receive my eggs I ordered from her as an add on. I never received a message back. I ended up leaving and never received my eggs that I paid $5 for. Communication is an important thing for me so we won’t be going back.
55Such a beautiful place!
55My first visit was great! This is a special place and I’m looking forward to coming back. I came expecting mud but still wasn’t quite prepared (it’s early spring and the tide flats were exposed by a low tide). Dog, car, bathroom, and person all needed a serious bath afterward, but it was worth it. She ran and ran and ran :D Lovely local eggs were a bonus!
55Beautiful spot!
55Not hard to find and fairly close to the high at but feels very rural and peaceful. Dogs loved the waterfall and stream and all the sniffs.
55Our dogs had a great time splashing in the mud! Make sure you wear appropriate footwear. There is no gate for entry so be aware of that if you have an escape artist. Long gravel drive opening further down into a meadow and the tidal flats beyond that. Our dogs are large and pulled us down the hill until we felt we were far enough from the road to let them off leash. Not an issue if you don’t have a puller but it was a little tuff for us to wrangle the decent. All in all a lovely spot and our dogs loved it.
55What a wonderful place. We were all tired from so much fun!

Description

Hello guests and dogs who have meant so much to me these last couple years (and prospective guests too). I’ve loved being your host! At this time, I am experiencing a serious medical problem which has caused near total vision loss. It was sudden and unexpected, and I need to focus on healing for now. I also am unable to navigate the app or communicate without help. Please accept my sincere apologies for the inconveniences this may cause. I know that this spot is a very important place for many dogs and their humans. I have friends who are helping me a few times a week, and we will back you up with any help you may need from Sniffspot support (refunding memberships, etc.). If you need to talk more and have my phone number, please call me (don’t text). If you do not have it, please message me, and at some point I will reply with my phone number. Again, please accept my sincere apologies for this unexpected turn of events. Sending my love and good forest smells to the pups, Anja

Host replied: Hi Christina, I’m so sorry you had this experience. It is completely unacceptable, and I don’t blame you for being frustrated. I have recently (in the last two weeks) experienced a medical crisis which included sudden and unexpected blindness. At this time I’m only able to communicate when I have assistance from friends, as right now. With their help I will be shutting down the spot for a while until I hopefully regain some vision. I will also get in touch with Sniffspot support about refunds for you. Please call (don’t text) if you need anything else. I will send a dm with my phone number.

Large 1/3 acre lot, perfect to chuck it far and tire out your canine.

Added an outhouse with hand sanitizer, covered seating area, privacy screen along fence to help with anyone walking dogs down the street or the neighbors concrete business. Mostly quiet neighborhood where you can feel safe to let your dog run and dig. Large playground tunnel equipment for your doggy to play in! Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Any suggestions on obstacles or improvements please message me. Thanks for considering enjoying canine time here!

Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the newly exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade, seating and a covered area make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. >>Pool is empty for the season<< During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One person may accompany a dog but please no children. Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. He was a loud, happy guy that lived to bark! He inspired Misspits Rescue who has saved hundreds of dogs and other animals. All proceeds from this rental support Misspits and the animals in our care.
