35The dogs had fun, although there was barely any water left in the jug for them to drink and the space was very unkept, a lot of junk laying around.
55It was such a great spot. Very quiet and my dogs had such a great time. The grounds were very clean!
55Beautiful sniff spot, lots of place for them to wander and sniff. All fenced in completely. They had poop bags which is always awesome! Ranger and Shelby loved it, we will be back!
55The agility course was fun to try out!
55Perfect space with lots of things to sniff. Plenty of shade too for our dog who runs hot. She loved it!
55Fully fenced, quiet, no other animals in sight. Mix of wooded areas and open space- perfect for exploring.
55So much fun! Jack loves your toys!
55Great spot! The pups loved exploring and one trotted up and down the trail a number of times. Clean with access to dog water. And it was back away from neighbors.
55It's official - this is Jack's favorite sniffspot! So many activities!
55Kodi's favorite sniffspot yet! We've visited a few in Cary and Raleigh area. He loved the size and relative wildness of this sniffspot. It made for good sniffs and kept the visit interesting for him. We got to check out the agility equipment for the first time, he liked that, too. Good spot for a reactive dog, didn't see anyone or any dogs.

Description

Welcome to the Rock Quarry Rd. - Private Dog Park in Raleigh! We are back! We have 1 acre fully fenced in with lots of room and enrichment opportunities for your dog! We cannot wait to share our space with you! ABOUT THE SPACE The yard is fully fenced in. We have a 4ft wire fence around the property. The back fence is a 6ft privacy fence. The largest opening is 5in at the bottom of the fence. There are no shared fence lines, our yard is ideal for reactive or sensitive pups. 🎾 The space comes with dog toys, tennis balls, place cots, digging sand, and a short but smell-filled nature “trail”. Our yard is filled with squirrels and birds and your dog will love following their scents through the brush. The area is made up of short grass, overgrown brush along the fence lines, and sandy soil. 🌳 Perfect shady spot for the summer! We have many mature trees which provide great shade but there are also large grassy spots where you can get full sun. A table and chairs are provided in the shade, as well as a covered area. 💧Water for dogs is provided, as is a water bowl. Our house runs on a small well so we have to reserve water. (The well is enclosed and located far outside of the fenced area). To supplement with the small well, we have a water tank with fresh water. please use what you need and keep them hydrated! For safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. Our house is far back off of the road. When you enter the driveway, you will pass our neighbor who is located at the road. They have dogs that will might bark when you drive past them. They are fully enclosed in a privacy fence and cannot be seen from our yard but they can be heard if they’re barking. Otherwise you should not see or hear any domestic animals. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Cleanliness

98% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

HOST NOTE

It is recommended that you wear closed toe shoes if walking along the fence lines. *There are patches of poison ivy along the back fence and in the wooded area.* We are cutting the roots and spraying the poison ivy with a non-toxic vinegar solution to kill the poison ivy. In the summer months, we love letting parts of the land grow wild along the fence so you may come across thorns as we have wild blackberry vines. The property used to be a mechanic’s shop and we are still cleaning up scraps left from the previous owner along the back fence line. We feel that the property is safe and our dogs have never gotten into trouble but we ask you to be aware and use your best judgment when exploring with your dog. The last photos in the album show the areas with the remaining scraps.

Hi! Rock Quarry Farm is back! Enjoy our one acre fenced yard. Our pups have loved it for years and glad to be able to share once again. Please note that our property’s water comes from a small, private well. We therefore have to conserve water and ask that when you use the spigot to fill the dog bowl, please make sure to turn it off & don’t leave it running for extended periods of time. Thank you for understanding :)

Welcome to our private, fully fenced half-acre backyard Sniffspot with a saltwater in-ground pool, just 20 minutes from downtown Raleigh! 🐾 We recently moved into this home, and hosting our own Sniffspot has been a dream of mine after being a Sniffspot guest for years. I’m so excited to share this space with other dogs and their people! 🐶❤️ Dogs and their people are both welcome to enjoy the pool and spacious yard. There are plenty of places to relax, including an outdoor sectional, lounge chairs, and umbrellas for shade. ☀️ For your pup, we provide fresh water and toys. For humans, we provide sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray. Towels for both people and dogs can be added to your booking as an extra if you’d rather not bring your own. 💦 The yard is regularly treated for ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes using pet- and environmentally friendly products, so you can enjoy your visit with peace of mind. Please pick up after your dog before you leave so we can keep the space clean and enjoyable for everyone. Max number of guests allowed at a visit is 6 people. We hope you and your pup have the best time! ✨
