Rock Quarry Farm - 1 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Raleigh

Welcome to the Rock Quarry Rd. - Private Dog Park in Raleigh! We have 1 acre fully fenced in with lots of room and enrichment opportunities for your dog! We cannot wait to share our space with you! ABOUT THE SPACE The yard is fully fenced in. We have a 4ft wire fence around the property. The back fence is a 6ft privacy fence. The largest opening is 5in at the bottom of the fence. There are no shared fence lines, our yard is ideal for reactive or sensitive pups. 🥇As of June 5th, we officially have a beginners agility course! It includes 3 jumps, 1 hoop jump, a tunnel, and weave poles. We hope you and your pup love it! 🎾 The space comes with dog toys, tennis balls, place cots, digging sand, dog waste bags/ trash can, and a short but smell-filled nature “trail”. Our yard is filled with squirrels and birds and your dog will love following their scents through the brush. The area is made up of short grass, overgrown brush along the fence lines, and sandy soil. We do have a pear tree that we didn’t expect to produce this year (last year was its fruit year) but with all the rain it has produced some small pears. Our dogs love to chew on the ones that fall on the ground and we’ve never been concerned but I want to give guests a heads up in case your dog can’t have pears or you see your dog chewing on one. 🌳 Perfect shady spot for the summer! We have many mature trees which provide great shade but there are also large grassy spots where you can get full sun. A table and chairs are provided in the shade, as well as a covered area. 💧Water for dogs is provided, as is a water bowl. You’re welcome to use the hose to rinse your dog off but we ask that you don’t bath your dog or run the water for long periods of time. Our house runs on a small well so we have to reserve water. (The well is enclosed and located far outside of the fenced area). While we do live in the house on the property, it is very unlikely that you’ll see us. We want to ensure that your time is as private as possible. Our personal dogs will be secured inside the house. We ask that you keep your dog away from the back door of the house. For safety, we do have security cameras located around the property. Our house is far back off of the road. When you enter the driveway, you will pass our neighbor who is located at the road. They have dogs that will likely bark when you drive past them. They are fully enclosed in a privacy fence and cannot be seen from our yard but they can be heard if they’re barking. Otherwise you should not see or hear any domestic animals. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

We had the absolute best time at Michele’s! It’s a big yard with grass and mulch and toys! Our pups played the entire hour. Access is a piece of cake and the entire property was so nice! Plus - the neighbors were friendly! We already booked for next weekend!

Great yard plenty enough room to run and he loved that blue volleyball 😂😂 the agility is cool too! My only feedback is there was a decent amount of debris in the yard and I picked up a large shard of glass but I threw it away

February 2023
Great place! The yard was good-sized with lots of toys and agility equipment, the fence was secure, and had a nice area for the humans to hangout. We'll definitively be back!

I really enjoyed this spot! Michele is very responsive and works hard to be very accommodating. The space was very clean and well kept. There was obviously a lot of attention placed on ensuring that the spot is secured for all dog sizes - with large stones and rocks and some bricks to cover up some wear and tear at the bottom of the fence. There is a variety of different substrates and textures throughout the spot for sensory input, and, of course, the agility equipment 😍. The agility equipment was an absolute blast to use despite me and my dog both being amateurs at it but it gave us both a good brain workout figuring out how to both teach and learn how to use it and what works. If I lived closer, I’d absolutely be a member, but I’ll definitely be back whenever I can!

Great, clean spot! Not too big, not too small— a great space for the dogs to get their zoomies out. The equipment was a fun touch.

January 2023
This is our second time visiting Michele’s yard. My dog absolutely loves it! There are so many amenities for both dogs and their humans. The high fence is also a great plus for reactive dogs!

Michelle’s backyard for pups is awesome!!! Well maintained, lots of toys & our pup enjoyed the agility equipment too!! She was just happy to be able to run & not have on a leash!!!! I’d recommend to anyone looking to do this!!!

I’ll definitely rebook this spot! It was raining and gross out but my pups needed to get out. The back yard is sloped and had draining so they honestly didn’t get that messy! The mulch setup with toys and dog agility is so cute! I was able to stay dry under the covered area. I have one reactive dog who was not triggered by anything, there were high fences, low noise secure gate. Michelle was very responsive!

With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Raleigh area are 5 stars.
