We have fixed the gap in the fence by the red gate and enforced the fencing near our neighbors (brown house) property. We've also added "Keep Out" signs to signal where there is barbed fencing that will keep cows within the property but not...

Location

Description

Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire (see pictures). The gate at the end of the gravel path begins your off-leash experience! Once inside, you'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens and ducks free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed as well. Message me if you are interested in purchasing fresh farm eggs. They are $8 a dozen. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Family

Great outdoor property for my 3 dogs. Not have to worry about attacking another dog. Peaceful, fun, great adventurous place with a beautiful river for dogs to enjoy. Recommending this place to all pet owners. Must go see.

What a wonderful place - my dogs didn’t know what to do having so much room to roam!! Thanks for sharing your special property 🤗👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

My puppy and I had a great visit. A truly special place. A good mix of wooded area for exploring and open grass for running around. Directions and signage was spot on. The host has done a great job of making this a fun and safe place. We’ll be back!

Beautiful property! I kept my dog on a leash because he was very interested in the chickens he saw as we entered. He’s an anxious runner and has a strong prey drive so I think he would have squeezed through the gate and caused trouble. Most dogs would probably be contained just fine!

Great space! Nice mix of open areas and wooded. All amenities present as listed.

Very fun Sniffspot! My pup loved exploring the wooded areas and running around in the open field. The trail up to the field is pretty muddy, so I’d recommend wearing hiking shoes or boots. We’ll definitely be back!

Meet your host

Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby Farm. Our family has resided here since 2015 and we've enjoyed raising a variety of animals. Our friends have had fun letting their dogs explore the pasture which gave us the idea to open it up for others.
