Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby Farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (please note: during the summer months the creek can become muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing and barbed wire. The gate at the end of the gravel path marks the beginning of your off-leash experience! Once inside, you can head left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. For your convenience, we also provide a water hose for rinsing off your dog after playtime. The hose is located outside the Sniffspot along the fence near the sheep enclosure. Spot 1 is open and puddle free! Spot 2 is now closed for the summer season. 1 acre of flat field in a beautiful setting. One large tree in the corner. Fully fenced approx 4.5’ with predator fencing. We have motion lights that come on at night, not super bright but makes the spot visible during early night winters. Boarded by two, large pastures, a private road with limited use and our barn. Occasionally during the wet months flocks of geese/ducks may land in the wetlands adjacent. We have goats, turkeys, geese, ducks and chickens but they are on the other side of the property and should not be seen/heard. We have two dogs, Veles and Flora, that will be on the other side of the property or in the house. There is a covered bench and trash can in the spot, fresh water is also available. 2 Private Acres of Zoomies

2 acres with 5 foot chain link fence surrounded by forest and wetlands. This offers a distraction-free place for your dogs to get their zoomies on! You get both shade and sun, with grass, dirt, wood chips, (and a bit of mud in some spots during the rainy season). We are in the country, so our park doesn't share a fence line with neighbors. You won't see any other dogs. There could be far away dog barks from a few blocks over, but nothing up close. We don't use toxic sprays, so rest assured it's a natural and safe place to romp and play in private. The 2 acres has mature trees throughout and is mowed during the growing season. It's perfect for throwing tennis balls and getting lots of good sniffs in. You will be able to see your dog at all times (unless he/she is hiding behind a tree.) If you add "The Woods" extra (see below) detailed instructions will be within the Sniffspot park, on the SouthEast fence next to the big red bow.

IMPORTANT! This summer, 2026, we're allowing a large portion of our pasture/spot to reseed itself. Seed heads can be troublesome to some fur types and will require grooming after your visit to remove them. (During the winter months we limit our availability to ensure our property remains as mud-free as possible.) **To ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience, please read the entire description of the property, fencing details and my property rules.** We split our reservation times with the other app "Rome". ("Rome dog" will find the app). If you don't see a reservation time that works for you here, try checking "Rome". (No subscription is required). *Bookings with multiple dogs- For every 2 dogs beyond 4, an additional adult is required. This helps to ensure the property remains poop-free. Our completely fenced 1.3 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running, trees and stumps for exploring, and low-level agility equipment to build confidence on, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. When the temps start reaching 80°, the kiddie pool will come out to refresh your pup's paws! The pool will be filled on these hot days sometime between 10:00 and noon and emptied every evening. If you would like a fresh fill for your pup(s) visit, filled for a morning visit or on a day that temps are below 80°, please add it as an "extra" for $6. If we are unable to offer fresh fills on a particular day, the "extra" toggle will be disabled.  Although completely fenced, supervision is always recommended. Private Fully Fenced Yard in Kirkland

Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or fertilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags and other trash in the little blue trash bin under the table. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences. Note that we are within hearing distance from a sportsman club\firing range, so at times there may be noise. Please reach out with any questions you may have!

There will be no dogs, people or animals outside on my property during your visit. Please just bring your own toys and pick up after your dogs. I look forward to welcoming you! * The entire 10+ acre perimeter of the property is steel mesh fencing with poles and/or steel mesh fencing in horse fencing to keep the entire perimeter secure and safe. PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Wire mesh is on the gates to ensure dogs cannot get out through the rails. However, smaller dogs could potentially crawl under one corner of the gate. The driveway is at a slight slope to one side so the gate has an approximate 6 inch gap below part of it and the paved driveway. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them and determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!

Enjoy this beautiful rugged forest on our 100 year old Heritage Farm located on Point Fosdick near the Narrows Bridge. This working farm has orchards, crops, honeybees, livestock, children, dogs, barn cats & poultry. So it is very important that dogs are leashed and under control during the short trail walk from the farm stand parking area, past the historic barn to the gated forest sniff spot entrance. Trail is well marked with rope, arrows and signage. Approx 200 feet from parking to forest gated entrance. Follow Paw Print Pallets & Sniff Spot Signs. Property is 10 acres total with Sniff Spot space covering approx 3 rugged native forested acres and backing up to large green belt. Area is partially fenced with six foot welded wire to the south and east. No access to roadways. Partial natural barrier on north side with open forest and deep creek ravine to the west. Property backs up to protected green belt and adjoining private forested properties covering many acres of woods with abundant wildlife. IMPORTANT: Dogs must have good recall. There is abundant wildlife along the deep ravine including deer, coyote, bear, owls, hawks, eagles etc. So please use caution and ensure your pet has good recall when off leash. Keep close eye on small dogs. If visiting with children, please be sure to keep them close. South West corner has yard waste compost drop off to creek ravine, area is well marked with a log and signage. Please use only Sniff Spot gated entrance/exit, as all other cattle gates must remain closed at all times. Forested space has plenty of sun and shade with 2 human benches, dog toys, fresh hose water, bowls and a stick library, along with garbage cans and dog baggies for cleaning up after your visit. Two vehicle spaces only per visit, as 3rd space is reserved for resident farmer. Please drive slow & carefully on shared gravel easement driveway when entering and leaving farm property. We are open daily 8am - 8pm closed on Tuesday & Thursdays. Hope you and your pup enjoy your visit!🐾

Magical Mossy Forest

Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot is a large mystical woodland adventure for dogs in Redmond on the way to Carnation. Boots are recommended in the winter rain. MMF is preferred by puppies, dogs, people, adults and kids alike because it has potable water, power, picnic tables, chairs, several firepits, lit portapotties, 3 swing sets, 3 slides, monkey bars, 3 Forts, a log bridge to cross over Little Ames Creek for when the creek is flowing, a doggy playground, lots of picturesque moss, lighted parking lot, woodchip trails and many footpaths over 5 forested moss covered acres. Parking is near the road, separated by 50 ft of woods, so we suggest that all our doggy friends be leashed until they are on the trails with you. Please leash your dog until into the forest away from the parking area, after that Bob's Your Uncle! Watch kids and dogs in the parking area near the road, and at Ames Creek. A secluded place to dork out and have fun, enjoying a natural Pacific rainforest. Note that the creek is dry in midsummer until the fall and winter rains kick in. Boots are recommended in the fall and winter. Find a map of the main trails in a photo on our MMF Sniffspot site. There are lots of foot trails through the understory ferns. The log bridge can be used to cross Ames Creek, or you can ford it to discover the rest of Magical Mossy Forest Sniffspot. Please pack out doggy bags with you because there is no garbage pickup here, please leave no trace. If there is a downpour and you want to wait it out there is a dry shed in the parking area. Access to power helps keep your batteries charged. Please carry your toilet paper (sorry it walks away). The portapotties are cleaned once a week.
