Welcome to Shady Hill Hobby farm! Our farm offers a wooded pasture with a creek (note: during summer months the creek is muddy) that is fully fenced with horse fencing or barbed wire (see pictures). The gate at the end of the gravel path begins your off-leash experience! Once inside, you'll have the option to take a left to enjoy the creek or continue up the hill to explore the woods and pasture. Upon entering the farm, parking will be on your right. Please park your vehicle on the wood chips. Given this is an active farm with chickens and ducks free ranging we do ask that you keep your dog(s) on a leash until you are behind the Sniffspot gate. You are also welcome to observe the farm animals while your dog is leashed as well. We hope you enjoy our farm as much as we do. ~ Hall Family

Great grass lawn for zoomies! Plenty of fence to sniff; we have wild rabbits that come through! Plenty of frisbee or chuck-it space. We are close just a block away from trail access point. It’s a nice little trail set that runs along the back of the neighborhood. It is forested and a true dirt trail so wear good shoes😉

Welcome to Lake Kathleen! We have a nice partly shaded 1 acre lot, 1/2 of which is wetlands, so be aware if your dog likes to swim or chase ducks. We are about 80% fenced (working on getting us fully fenced). We have access to a lovely walk around the lake if you want to park and walk that as well. Enjoy agility equipment, a dog pool and lounge chairs to sit back and watch your dog(s) play! I also set up interactive games for you and your dogs so you can play games, build focus and confidence in your dog all while getting them exercise and a positive association with a new environment/experience.

I am a huge lover of pups and since having to say goodbye to my 14 yr old English lab in 2021, I want other dogs to enjoy our serene backyard like she did. It brings me joy to see dogs running around and playing safely in my yard.

Fully fenced West Seattle yard with patio furniture! Come hang out in our west facing sunny backyard. Easy parking (no parallel parking required) and secluded street in the middle of the Junction! We have a sleepy 14 year old dog, Lucy, who will be kept in the house during your visit. When Lucy was young, we lived in apartments and condos and would've loved to have a private space to let her get her zoomies and play fetch. Come enjoy our space!

Hi - my name is Jake (he/they) and live in a beautiful single family home in Cherry Hill / Capitol Hill, Seattle. The house has a beautiful fully fenced grassy back yard, with lawn care every two weeks to make sure the space stays upheld. I don’t have any pups of my own but very much a dog person! I’m a social person and love making connections. I also currently work from home and am in Nonprofit Management. The backyard is a little oasis and fully blooms in the Spring/Summer. I think you and your dogs will love the space, since there is a large area for running around and playing!

My yard is fully fenced, quiet and peaceful. The house, and yard, is set back off the street and has plenty of guest parking. Grass is mowed regularly and lots of bushes and smells for your pup to explore. Human seating available on the deck or below. Dog bowl with water, water spigot, waste bags, hand sanitizer, garbage, and electric outlets all available for use. Enjoy!

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. A garbage container for poo bags is available at the top driveway as you exit under the Big Leaf Maple tree on the right in the large gray bin marked "Garbage". We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. Conveniently located next to a public trail access, and located within private property. The lawn is a mix of short grass and soft moss, this is regularly maintained and never sprayed with chemicals or ferilizers. Fully fenced on all four sides with no low spots\gaps. One secured swinging gate at the entrance. Dedicated parking along the road just before the house and is clearly marked with a sign! The table next to the fenced area has a mailbox with hand sanitizer and other goodies, there is also a water\food bowl available. (I have a hose on the side of the house you are welcome to use) Please dispose of any used poop bags in the GREEN trash container to the left of the garage. The road next to the fenced area is privately owned, so the only people and vehicles that pass by are residents and delivery couriers but they are not very visible due to the difference in elevation. People occasionally pass by on the public trail and some do bring their pets, but it is mostly obscured from view by the trees on our property and separated by two sets of fences.
