Wildlife is common here, including deer, pheasants, gophers, and other small animals. Our own dogs frequently surprise a pheasant hiding in the grass, so dogs that love using their noses will have plenty to investigate. Because we maintain much of the acreage in its natural state, you’ll encounter tall grasses, native vegetation, burrs, seeds, uneven terrain, and changing conditions throughout the seasons. Gophers are also very active here, which means there are gopher mounds and holes throughout the property. Please watch your footing while exploring, and consider whether the terrain is appropriate for dogs or people with mobility concerns. We recommend doing a quick paw and coat check for burrs before heading home. Fully fenced in large backyard with plenty of room for ball, chase or zoomies. There is a small wooded area in the back for dogs to explore. Our immediate neighbors do not have dogs but do occasionally have one or two visiting. Come let your dog explore! **Please be sure to read through all rules prior to visiting. Make sure to park on the street and not in the driveway**

Rice Creek Sniffspot

NOTE: we will be cleaning and storing away the agility equipment for the winter season starting in September. The agility equipment displayed are only available during the summer months. A large, open 1.25 acre fenced in yard with multiple small hills that is bordered on the west side by a public walking trail (with 6 foot fence) and on the north side by Rice Creek (with 5 foot fence). Note that the creek is not directly accessible from the Sniffspot. During the winter months, deer and foxes pass just outside of the fenced in yard, while in warmer months the creek entices additional wildlife as well as the occasional canoeist or kayak. Agility equipment pictured are available during the warmer months and are not available in the winter. There's abundant street parking as we are located at a dead-end. Please do not park in the driveway. Enter the yard using the gate located to the left of the garage.

David's Fully Fenced Yard

Quiet circle in pleasant neighborhood just off Central Ave and 694. Fully fenced and easy access from the street. Relax on the deck while your dog explores the yard and splashes in the kiddie pool and plays with the toys. Two small woodsy areas in back. Wood chips and some brush areas all around. Hose and sprinkler available in summer. On occasion you will see rabbits and squirrels running around.

This is a great little spot with alot of privacy once you are down the hill by the river. There is an open field for the dogs to run and play catch with a mix of grass and sand, There are multiple spots where the dogs and people can get into the water if you wish . I also have a picnic table and some chairs down there to sit and relax at , it is very peaceful and private. I also offer overnight camping for guests for 100 a night , I have a nice large lodge style tent set up overlooking the river , there is a grill picnic table , firepit a couple fishing poles or you could always bring your own. I also have kayaks and a canoe available for rent also.
