Description

Our dog agility training field area is available for exhibitors who are looking for a place to train their dogs independently. AKC Agility regulation equipment is available for use. Please note that this training area is not fenced, so the user is responsible for keeping their dog on property and under control.

Additional rules

Handlers and dogs are using the agility equipment at their own risk. They can park their vehicle out of the way on the driveway to access the Agility field, but must not let their dogs loose on the homeowners property. Handler’s must pick up after their dogs and deposit waste in the garbage can located next to the driveway.

Enjoy the beauty of our 75 acre farm with your dog! Our walking path is approximately 6 ft wide and borders the exterior of our pasture-based farm. Most of the path has a 6 wire electric fence beside it for our cattle. There are two creeks with bridges that you can cross (with potential wet puddles). The entire farm is approximately a 35-40 minute walk depending on your pace, but you can always turn around for a shorter walk. Plenty of area for your dog to sniff and enjoy on a private walk! This sniffspot does require you to have your dog leashed at all times.

Please note that this is at our rescue where we do adoption appointments. You may see other dogs in the driveway or walking in and out of our office. Weekends tend to be our busiest time for adoptions and when most people are visiting other areas of the farm.
