Enjoy a beautiful walk on a network of trails that traverse rolling hills in and out of the forest. At the back of the property, you will enjoy some of the best and most private scenery in Oakland County. As summer turns to fall there are a lot fewer bugs and beautiful color changes. Some trees are changing already. Please stay on the cleared paths on the West side and South portion of the property due to work being done on other sections. There are wooden arrow signs that help you navigate to the back of the property and back to the parking area. Thank you. For now, feel free to wonder the entire fenced 10 acres. For Your First Visit: It is a good idea to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter until you are comfortable. Although it is fenced, it is not possible to know every dog’s individual behavior. The tornado siren goes off every first Saturday of the month at 1:00. No joy. The lake is beyond the spot/property line. * Wildlife: deer and wild turkey are seen daily; you may also spot herons, raccoons, possums, squirrels, and songbirds. * Insects & plants: ticks and poison ivy may be present — please use normal outdoor precautions. * Parking: park near the barn, or by the carport in snowy conditions. Driveway and parking are gravel/dirt. * Water: a hose is available except during freezing months. * Guests must clean up after their dogs and stay within the backyard/play area for safety and comfort. 🔒 Security Cameras For safety, wildlife monitoring, and property protection, security cameras are located throughout Serendipity Woods, including the driveway, barn area, exterior of the house, and other outdoor points around the property. We also have indoor cameras inside our private residence, which are used for home security only and do not record or monitor any areas accessible to guests. Some cameras record both video and sound and may be triggered by motion activity. These are standard rural safety measures that help us stay aware of weather, wildlife, and property activity.

Area 1, Orange Cone, South Field is for individuals that want some 1 on 1 time with their best furry friend(s). Please be aware other dog owners may have rented the same time slot on Area 2 the adjacent field. The South Fully Enclosed Field has 6' fencing and is fully secure preventing escape. Overall Site Description - Two separate (side-by-side) fully enclosed softball fields that also serve as a semi-private exercise park for dogs. The grassy outfield and secure fencing provide plenty of room for dogs to run and play, while owners can enjoy the open surroundings. With no permanent shade structures, visitors often bring their own chairs or canopies. To maintain the looking clean fields, please pick up dog waste, children play here too. Thank you!

The .36 acre yard is fully fenced in with several access gates. There’s trash cans outside the gate for poop bag disposal, poop bags available for use, table/chairs/umbrella for relaxing, and kid toys such as sand box, trampoline and soccer net available for use. I run a pet sitting business out of my home and frequently have other friendly playful dogs over. I can keep them in, or I can let them out for extra play time and exercise. The yard is maintained weekly, and no weed killer, fertilizer, or pesticides of any type are used.
