Description

Beautiful scenic spot just outside of Staunton! This mostly level space offers lots of options for your fur family. An acre of fully fenced in yard, an additional acre of open field (fenced on 2 sides only) with large trees, and a shallow river access that’s great for swimming and playing! The fenced in portion of yard also has kids play equipment available, rocking chairs, and a porch swing. A small picnic table with umbrella is also available for use. We do have neighbors, but because we sit further back than other houses, our yard offers a lot of privacy with woods and a field surrounding us. We often have squirrels, birds, rabbits, deer, turkeys, and geese roaming around! Your pets will enjoy the space to run, river access, and unlimited water! And you will enjoy the beautiful views and shade trees! ****NOTICE***** THE CREEK ACCESS WILL CONTINUE TO BE AVAILABLE, HOWEVER, THE WEED AND GRASS MAINTENANCE WILL CEASE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO OWNER INJURY. I WILL BE UNABLE TO KEEP UP THIS AREA AS I TYPICALLY DO. SO PLEASE BE AWARE IT MAY BE OVERGROWN AND DIFFICULT TO ACCESS UNTIL AT LEAST SEPTEMBER. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING!!!

Please clean up any trash and place in the trash cans by the carport. Restroom available if needed, but please knock on back door for access. Please note that our only covering is an umbrella at the play area, but if it’s raining, you’re welcome to monitor your pet(s) from the carport that backs up to the yard. A clean water bowl will be filled for each visit, and be placed near the water faucet for refills as needed (located on small concrete walkway at back of house)! Lift up on red handle to fill, and push down to close.

We’re a small family with a lot of space! My wife, daughter, and I have two dogs (Daisy-2, black mouth cur; Rusty-11, daschund mix) and a cat. Our dogs and cat would stay inside during visits! We have 1 acre that’s fully fenced, and another acre that is only partially fenced, next to an open field, and has shallow river access for more fun! **PLEASE NOTE** River access will not be maintained during winter months!
