55Great place! Grass/yard was well kept. Plenty of room for my lab to roam and play fetch. Will definitely be back!
55First time at this sniffspot. Easy to find and park. Lots of room to run and sniff.
35Neighbor dogs distraction
55The dogs had a great time playing today. This is a big beautiful yard with lots of space to run and chase. There is plenty of grass and interesting places to sniff. We did experience the neighbor's dogs barking at the fence toward the end of our visit. It was a bit disruptive but we worked to help our dogs through it and return to their play. A shared fence with other dogs is not ideal for a sniff spot but we were able to use it as a training opportunity. This is still a spot we will visit again.
55Fantastic spot!
55Great space to run a big dog!
55Place was a good size. Perfect for a sunny day because there’s trees throughout that provide pockets of nice shade. Want to just keep a good eye out since there’s twigs and pine cones all over that your fury friends might try to eat. Bring water/bowl and toys as we didn’t see any there.
55We had so much fun at Allison’s dog park! The property is beautiful, lots of grass and it’s super clean. The fence is really nice. We have 3 Greyhounds and a good fence is really important to us. We will be back to visit again! I can’t say enough good things about Allison’s place!
55Great!
55Lots of room to run. Some trees and nice grass. There is a dog next door that does bark but harmless.

My name is Allison. My partner, Colin, and I live on a 1.25 acre property with a 1 acre fully-fenced yard. I love dogs and have had dogs for most of my life. I currently do not own a dog and would love for dogs and their humans to be able to enjoy my yard.

A world-class Pacific Northwest natural rainforest adventure awaits you and your best friends on 66-year-old trails, through 2 acres of trails, forest, tall old growth trees, a creek, and open areas for ball throwing and chasing sticks on 9 terraces. Starting with your choice of 2 entrance paths on the far left and right over a bluff that winds around to The Landing Pad, through other trails forming circles to run around on and play. ('Yes, there are 2 paths you can go by'). At the very bottom, our Madhatter trail leads to a creek. The property is partially fenced and has natural barriers. It is bounded by a fence at the top, a fence on one L-shaped side, a cliff, and creek on the other. Bring more than one dog, if at all possible, because they LOVE to play 'Hide and Go Seek', and chase each other around in circles on the switchback trails, down the hill to the creek and back up the hill to the lodge. This tranquil forest was mostly clear-cut between 66 to 100 years ago then not replanted. So we replanted our 2-acre forest with 600+ trees. The ground is wood chips, sand, Pacific Northwest duff, with 160ft tall Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Alder, Big Leaf Maple trees, 1 Madrona, ferns, and native bushes with views of a 20-acre privately owned forested wetland. We prepared the yard as a Sniffspot for dogs. Rarely seen are animals in the forest - occasional wild rabbits, moles, squirrels, mountain beavers, raccoons, mice, shrews, voles, and weasels. Many birds are seen and heard here- thrush, grosbeaks, warblers, sparrows, starlings, chickadees, flycatchers, redstarts, vireos, tanager, pewees, orioles, woodpeckers - shorebirds, waterfowl, raptors, such as hawks, and American Bald Eagles. This is a rugged forested area so be careful of footing! watch for signs of moles and Mountain beaver underground trails crossing the paths, especially along Secret Lane, Lover's Lane, and Hidden Lane (signs to be added soon). Do wear boots if you plan to access the creek. We spent 4+ years removing invasive bushes, cutting down dead trees, and creating places for you to run, walk, play, pause, sit, and enjoy your dogs in this natural rainforest, one mile from the South Sound. When you park you can close the entry gate at the top. We feel a lot of delight here. We welcome you to enjoy it now! 2 Starbucks are less than 5 minutes away in either direction (bathrooms are available there). Bigfoot Java is at 4627 SW 320th St. (no bathroom but open 24x7) Join us on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61556216197208 or search "Wonderlane World Famous Sniffspot" :-) Wonderlane is a place to commune with nature, a peaceful place to breathe in nature with some walks over and around 2 acres of forested hills. You can't get lost, just keep going up if you are unsure. When it is raining and for water dogs, bring a towel to dry off pups' paws. There is water to wash dogs down near the creek. Actually there are water hydrants in most areas. If your dog is reactive and you want to, you may keep your pup leashed the 20 ft from your vehicle to the top of either trailhead. When leaving via either trail at the top you can easily pause to leash your dog if you wish. PS. If your dog doesn't want to leave, contact me and I'll ring the Magic Chuck Waggin' Triangle, and your dog will come. No worries! Toss garbage away at the top driveway as you exit in the large gray bin marked "Garbage".
