There are several wineries in the area, including Roaring River Vineyards within 15 minutes. This area is also home to the Blue Ridge Parkway, a short 20 minute drive. Wilkesboro, Sparta, and Elkin are within 30-40 minutes and offer lots of excellent restaurants, breweries, and fun things to explore. Several local golf courses are close by. Boone and Blowing Rock are about an hour from this location. Cell service is non-existent at the site but available at the main entrance. Wi-Fi is available for an additional charge; hi-speed and reliable for streaming and/or working remote.

The perimeter of my property is fenced so you know you’re still on my property. However, it is triple strand so dogs could go through it. We do have chickens and ducks that free roam. We also have other animals that will be contained in the barnyard behind the barn. Drive straight down driveway towards RV. There will be a gate straightahead and another gate to the left. Park anywhere there and use either gate. The gate to the left leads to that big field and the creek runs the length of it. The other gate leads to the back and crosses over the creek. Walk up there just a bit and you will see a path to the left. It goes up to another open field.

Our dogs want to share their yard with yours! This is a long fenced yard great for running, playing, frisbee, or just sitting in the sun. Used by our dogs, but they will be put away or at daycare when yours are here. Homeowner will be present when yard is in use, but the yard space will be all yours.

Only natural horticulture vingear for spot weed control. This area is located beside Bear Creek and when the creek is high or after a good rain IT WILL BE MUDDY on the right side of the property! Dry creekbed located across the back of the property. **The Creek is NOT accessible from the fenced property** -Water hose on site for use. Dog shower/bath area to the right of the shed with dog wash hose attached, shampoo, and wash shammy. Or you may bring your own bath supplies! Feel free to give your dog a shower/bath! ***Just added dog pool*** For use at no extra charge! Fill up/use if you'd like! (It's been stored for the fall/winter...but if you would like to use it...please let me know at time of booking) -Dog water bowl, dog brush, toys, treats, human and dog tick spray provided. All located in large deck box inside the gate. -Bring doggy towels in case of mud or bathing! -Porch swing and seating areas with a shed deck, gas grill, picnic table and hammock at the top of the property. -Chair/table area at the bottom of rock trail. At the end of the cleared field is a 2 single seat swing set and hammocks by the bridge. **Stick Library** -**NEW** we have expanded the field area to fence in the hill!
