Amazing property! Plenty of room for the dogs to run around and explore! Areas for them to get in the creek and swim ! Absolutely perfect place to bring your dogs!
Absolutely amazing property! Marked very well with interesting spots for the doggies !! Seemingly endless woods to explore !!
Our second visit with my 3 girls. We got better instructions about where to cross the stream, walk into the woods and up a high hill, and watching for Sylvia's breadcrumbs (bottles or cans attached to branches and orange tape) to better follow the various paths. The woods are quite mysterious to me as I found it easy to get turned around and forget where I entered from but actually keeping mindful of the stream's location I was able to explore the woodsy hillside easily. It is a trek. My girls just love being off leash in such a large area. I was concerned that they would wander off and I wouldn't find them but it was very exciting to see them run off for several minutes and then run back to me all the time. My girls are 6, 5, and 10 months and only used to dog parks and walks, so this has been a truly exciting adventure for them and I am so glad to see how our relationship of trust has grown.
Enjoyed our visit today. Weather was chilly and quite windy but none of my girls minded at all. They loved all the openness of the pasture and the woods and stream. The property is rather rugged, need to wear hiking pants, gloves, hiking boots or boots, especially to cross the stream (not deep at all). We didn't get to the entire property but it is fenced in, a few places my girls were able to get through the fence but they returned quickly. So very pretty and wonderful to have all the extra room for the dogs to run and run. Sylvia was an absolute dear. Got us inside the property, and gave us instructions. She has 13 rescue dogs and about 6 rescue horses. Just amazing. All her dogs love each other. The horses are well acclimated to dogs and their barking, so not a problem. Be prepared when walking in the pasture to watch for the horse droppings. Briars in the woods. Water is available from the fresh stream. Bring your own toys if you want some to play with. The property is quiet, peaceful, we did not see other animals or people. We will definitely return.

I am an animal whisperer. I specialize in rescuing and rehabilitating dogs. I have dedicated my life to educating and helping humans to understand their dogs. Socializing is the key to a well-balanced secure dog. Exercise and stimulation vary from dog to dog but regardless of breed, age, or size, it is never too late to socialize. Sometimes all a dog needs are other dogs to learn boundaries.
