55We had so much fun! It could be a bit steep for people with bad joints I can see but we had no problem walking up and down in regular walking shoes the entire time. We even crossed little water stream as well. My dog is now tired and is ready for an afternoon nap!
55Had a great time with Choo & Sky. Rainy days are the best. Many snerfs were snerfed. Lots of mud was tracked and jumped into. The stream wasn't as high as I thought it would be which made it a breeze to cross. Sky was in stick heaven. Choo might have seen a baby Sasquatch but the gunshots from nearby stopped any further investigation. Sky was too busy eating forest noms and barreling through mud to be phased by those fun sounds. Bring a change of clothes 😉😜
45This place would have gotten 5 stars because the location is great BUT I didnt read in the description that its a bit of a hike all the way up. I have a bad knee and I wasn't able to go more than a couple hundred feet because of the incline. If you are able to hike and want to be far out in the wilderness, this place is for you. It's absolutely beautiful. Directions were clear on how to find it and the little map left on the tree was also a nice touch.
55This sniffspot was GREAT! The directions are easy to get to. There is a map at the beginning that is helpful for figuring out the land. And they leave their cell number for questions and to let them know you made it back to service! (Oh yeah, no cell service on the land, which is pretty nice!) There is one house near the beginning with a fence with wide spaces, we didn't see any animals at the house, but it is noted they have them so if that is hard for your dog just stay on leash till you pass or turn before. We had so much fun exploring! There are trails that make it just like hiking but also a wide-open road that fun to go on and you can see the whole way. The road leads to a wide-open space which would be great for a sunny day to just hang out at. We did run into a creek that made it hard to pass and I got a little confused about the boundaries but I'm sure that's less of a problem when its less rainy. I would say a recall is very important for this place! There are many places the dog can run off to and it is not fenced. If you don't trust your dogs recall use a long line or keep them on leash. We spent 2 hours here and could definitely spend so much more time exploring, we will definitely be back!
55Sky had a blast. Such a nice pawperty! So much to snerf. Considering the weather was super wet, we managed to stay fairly... Not soaked... over the 3 hours we were there. Cool little trails. The stream provided a really reliable water source given all the running up and down the hills. Sky got back in the car and just snored al the way to i5. Mission accomplished. The exact entrance was a bit further than the GPS instructions. It's hard to miss tho given the giant 'Sniffspot' sign. I didn't take pics considering the dryest place was inside the car. My Garmin mini worked at first to announce arrival but failed me upon departure. Reception is super sketchy but being unplugged in 2020 feels great! Totally recommended.
55My dog had a lovely time here exploring the trails. We were here for almost 4 hours and I don't think we saw it all. Really special to have a place so large all to ourselves. One note for those who may have dogs sensitive to loud noises, we could here some fairly close rifle shooting nearby, so if your dog is spooked by such things
55This is our favorite place! Always a fun time and so pretty!
55Another great visit. We parked at the entrance (in our case we had to drive past where google maps said the entrance was, but there is a big sniffspot sign on a tree), then hiked up the hill. The trees are so beautiful, there were many sticks for soba and smells for Toshii. We did yoga and meditation at the high clearing then hiked around through the new forest for a while. There is a nice running stream for the dogs and it’s mainly shade in the forest. It is so relaxing and tranquil. We didn’t see any dogs or cows but we know the neighbors have both. We booked two hours and could have stayed longer. We’ll be back regularly!
55Great woods, we chose the hottest day of the year to go and it was still nice. Lots of short trails that link up and some that don't, we ended up bushwhacking through blackberry brambles at one point. Water running through a creek with a small pool that our dog found and loved! Overall great, we'll come back when it's cooler.
55Amazing as always! Perfect weather and still just enough water in the creek to play in!

Description

My family owns 100 acres of timber country on a mountainside outside Cinebar. We have owned this land for about 100 years and log it every 40 years. The rest of the time it just grows trees. We would love to have guests there. The land has a network of logging roads and paths for access. The land is on a hillside with overlooks and creeks and 100 foot high forest trees. It is a fantastic area for a dog to explore. We keep the road locked, but we can unlock it for you when you come. If you have a four wheel drive vehicle you can drive into the land. Otherwise, we recommend parking at the road and hiking in. On the east side there is a fenced property that has a dog, but it is a securely fenced area. Let me know if you have any questions. Have a blast!

Don't let the darkness defeat you taking your canine out to play! Installed 3 street lights to keep the early darkness at bay. Light timer switch is on the left inside the dog two way gate. Lights take a couple minutes to get fully bright. Now you can play with your dog from 6am to 9pm. Enjoy this private area that you can let your dog off leash without having to worry about anyone interrupting your time with your dog. Picnic table with cover. Water dish, poop bags, waste bin, sticks and balls with a chuck it at entrance. Coordinate with a friend and meet here to let your dogs play together while you catch up. We charge $13 for the hour space rental so, *please mark only one dog even if you are bringing more* The space has a long grassy open [360 feet] area to use a chuck it for dogs that love to fetch. A large cedar provides shade on half of the property while the other half is in the sunshine. This is a fun spot for dogs to exercise their legs and noses. Please check back for future upgrades. Welcome! We offer a 1 acre, fenced spot for your dog(s) to run, play, dog, sniff and bark! >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the newly exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade, seating and a covered area make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. >>Pool is empty for the season<< During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One person may accompany a dog but please no children. Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use.
