The highlight of the property is our fresh, flowing creek—perfect for water-loving dogs who enjoy splashing, wading, and cooling off. There's also plenty of open space for running, fetching, exploring, and working on recall. While your dog has an adventure, you can relax under our covered picnic shelter with comfortable seating and enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. 🐾 What You'll Love 🌊 Fresh Flowing Creek A natural creek gives water-loving pups a place to splash, play, and cool off. 🌳 4 Private Acres Plenty of room for zoomies, fetch, sniffing, exploring, and outdoor adventures. ⛱️ Covered Picnic Shelter Take a seat in the shade and relax while your pup plays. 🥏 Great for Recall & Long-Line Training The open space makes this a wonderful setting for practicing recall, whistle training, long-line work, and boundaries. 🌿 A Peaceful Mountain Setting Enjoy some time away from crowded dog parks in a natural Western North Carolina environment. Good to Know Before You Visit Our property is not fenced, so dogs should have reliable recall or remain on a long lead. Because this is a natural outdoor property, you may encounter birds, squirrels, insects, and other local wildlife. Creek depth and water conditions may vary depending on recent rainfall and weather. Bring your dog's favorite ball, frisbee, or water toy—and get ready for some happy, tired pups!

The Wet Spot

*Please excuse our mess! Bookings are currently limited for August while our grass recovers from construction of a new water feature* Welcome to the Wet Spot! Designed by dogs for dogs our 1.4 acre fully fenced play area features a 1/2 acre swim pond, dock, sand dig pit, grassy open areas, and a shaded pavilion. Feel free to bring your own SUP or kayak! The Wet Spot is a great place to work on paddle training. Our pond is regularly tested for Cyanobacteria (blue green algae).

Welcome to a secret pocket park in a quiet residential neighborhood of Asheville. Enjoy quiet views of neighboring ridges in the shade of mature maple trees. Lots of fun smells and space for you and your dogs to run around.

Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

We have a half acre, fully fenced, safe environment for your play time. A few toys, fresh water bowls, poo bags and a trash can are all provided. Plenty of chairs for the dog moms and dads to relax.

#3 Fun field for a furry frenzy 3- Field of Dreams in Fletcher

This is the best dog park in all of Buncombe County! Have you ever wanted to run your dog on three football sized flat fields? This is your chance. Located behind UPM Raflatac Warehouse in the cane creek industrial park this huge spot is the third one we have built. It’s perfect for all ages of dogs and their humans because of the terrain! If you are up for an adventure, we have cut in a small trail to access Cane Creek. It is part of the same property but is NOT fenced in any way. If your pup enjoys off or on leash hikes, then feel free. The trail is outside the fencing look for the silver gate across from the Gazbo. It is an out and back path with two small hills about a 3-5min walk in the woods. A picnic table, gazebo with swing, and hammock are located here for lots of seating and shelter. Some toys are provided. I think a Remote Control car or a drone, a mountain bike might be really fun to bring or even a Remote Control plane. This spot is actually part of the old Fletcher airport. No Digging! PLEASE! All I want in life is to help people to have balanced dogs in their lives! Enjoy!

#4 Fun Field for a Furry Frenzy #4- Games and Planes

This site may be muddy after a rain. This is a large private field that is tucked just a short distance from downtown Hendersonville one block from the Hendersonville Community Co-op and not far from Flat Rock! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets! - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - Please remember to bring water for you and your pets. Please No Digging! Fence is a visible barrier and made of a wire and plastic mesh. There may be holes if chewed on, I am passionate about helping dogs and this is my fourth Sniffspot and I will do all I can to make this one just as enjoyable for the responsible pet owners closer to Henderson County!

We've removed a couple of tiny houses but otherwise it is as as depicted in the video. With slight changes based on season. We have 9.5 acres of pristine mountain glory We have a large unfenced Field, Shallow Creek with some small waterfalls, a spring that feeds a tiny pond, a large cleared Homesite that's away from the road moderate to difficult trails and beautiful views. The trails are moderate until you come to the areas that we had landslides, at which point, you can turn around or enjoy the difficulty it presents. Sometimes I or other guests may be on property. If you don't want any other dogs present while you're here, please confirm by text ahead of your reservation time. Thanks so much! We look forward to sharing our sweet space with you. Because this is a brand-new offering, we’re sure there will be a few kinks to work out along the way, and we truly appreciate your patience as we learn and grow. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any feedback, ideas, or special requests — we want this to be a great experience for everyone. 🐶 A few quick housekeeping reminders: • Please clean up after your dog. Accidents happen — no worries! Just use the provided poop bags, mop, rags, and spray to clean up. • A poop trash can and scoop are located in the dog run for your convenience. • If you use the water bowls, please empty them in the sink at the end of your reservation. • Please return the space to the way you found it, including putting any toys or equipment back in their designated spots. 📹 Security Reminder: For the safety of our guests, dogs, and facility, this space is monitored by security cameras. This is the original sniffspot for Asheville! The one you may have read about in Women Day magazine, CNBC Online and The Sun. A large pasture with fencing around everywhere. Bring a towel and enjoy! Chairs and picnic table, a hammock provided creekside! There is even a 10x16 Covered Gazebo! We hope you like it! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for.
