Welcome to Holly Hill Farm – a beautiful, expansive 180-acre working farm in Hanover County, Virginia, perfect for dogs who love to run, explore, and sniff to their heart’s content! This private property features a mix of wide-open fields (currently planted in soybeans), wooded areas with winding trails, and a peaceful pond. There’s plenty of room to roam safely along the edges of the fields and through the woods. Some trails cut through the forested sections for shaded walks and adventure. Important for your visit: • Please drive down to the last barn and park. • Please stay within the property boundaries — we’ve included clear photos in the listing showing fences, markers, and property lines to help you navigate easily. • Please pick up after yourself and your dog as there are no trash cans on site. • As a working farm, you may occasionally see or hear light farm activity (equipment, crops, etc.), but the chances are low during Sniffspot bookings. Your dog will have tons of space to enjoy the rural setting without interference. This is a fantastic spot for dogs who enjoy open running space, exploring nature trails, cooling off near the pond, and experiencing a real Virginia farm atmosphere. Dogs love my sniff-tastic space! I hope you'll visit my large, fully enclosed half-acre yard. It has everything a pup could ask for: an open clearing for zoomies or game of fetch, shady woods and nooks and crannies to investigate, SO MANY critter sniff trails, and dirt, leaves and grass to dig in! It's also a great space for humans of all sizes to explore! You can even try your hand at a game of bocci ball while you're here in our gravel court! (Feel free to move our weed tarp out of the way if you want to play). Easy side-street parking on Kamankeag makes accessing the yard through the back gate a piece of cake! *OUR FENCING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY SMALL DOGS OR ESCAPE ARTISTS.*

Country hideaway! Fully fenced dog pasture on secluded property in Beaverdam, VA

Fall is in the air and our spot is perfect to enjoy a nice, quiet escape! Our secluded dog pasture is located on a dead end in Beaverdam. As you enter the gravel driveway, you will see designated parking alongside a shaded shed. Just a short walk away is the entrance to a fully fenced doggie pasture. In warmer months, the (4) chairs and a table will have an umbrella available for some shade. We also will have a shade sail for the pups use as well as a garden hose and drinking bowl (for the dogs only preferred). There are covered dog shelters so your pooch can have some shade. Doo doo bags, a scooper and trash can are nearby for cleaning up. The area is far removed from the street We are easily reached should you have any issues at all and the area has security cameras for safety. We do not have any outside pets that will interfere with your visit. A burn barrel and wood is available for visits in the cooler months. Take a ride through the county and enjoy our clean and pesticide/fertilizer free pasture!

Your Pup's 0.4 Acre Private (Fully Enclosed 6 Foot Fence) Park In Lakeside!

Please come let your pups run around in our large Lakeside yard! Our 3 pups (sometimes 4 if we have a foster) love all the open space, so we hope yours will too. We will try to always leave a towel and some little treats up on the deck, so you’re more than welcome to help yourself to anything up there! There should be a bucket of toys, poop baggies in a ziploc bag that are likely inside of the weatherproof tub by the deck stairs, a pooper scooper and a hose etc, so please feel free to use any of it as needed.

We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave & please pick up after your pet. Thank you! *No smoking while on premise, please and thank you!* Please practice Leave No Trace.

Fenced farmstead backyard

Attention: we will be closed January 5th - 12th for construction of a privacy fence along the side with our neighbor with dogs. We hope this will minimize distractions and noise from them for our guests. Thank you for continuing to be the best group of guests we could ask for! Large fenced in backyard with trees, shrubs, a shaded area, and multiple seating options. Plenty of room to run around and play.
