Description

We have a 5 acre OFF LEASH area available, and an ON LEASH walking trail in the back of our property. We are pleased to invite you and your dog to our lovely fully fenced in area on our 12 acre property in the countryside of Montpelier, VA. 30 min from downtown Richmond, VA - come escape to the quiet and tranquil area we have set up and fenced off for dogs. An additional nature area for walking is available in the back; however, dogs MUST be leashed in this area, as it is not fully fenced back there. Walking trails have been cut and wildlife is often seen in our little sanctuary. Please be mindful of neighbors and leave the area as you found it. Be sure to close ALL gates before you leave & please pick up after your pet. Thank you! *No smoking while on premise, please and thank you!* Please practice Leave No Trace.

There is a wood pile, and some blackberry bushes around the area to be mindful of. Some areas on the property may contain poison ivy, please be careful not to touch! There is also a horse barn that may have some hazards, so please try to keep an eye on your furry friend if they try to enter it. Horse barn is not available for use.*

Please pick up after your furry friend and be sure to close all gates in the main area before you leave! Thank you! 😊 We operate the SniffSpot from 10AM - 3PM, as our own dogs use the space in the mornings and evenings. The main fenced area is available for OFF LEASH use, and the area in the far back with the walking trail is ON LEASH ONLY***. You may encounter wildlife in the back, so please be respectful of the wildlife that lives nearby - We love our natural neighbors. Thank you! If you have any questions, please reach out!
