A great location for both owners and dogs to unwind, featuring a creek bordered by native trees that have stood for centuries. There are park benches available for you to sit back and relax and a dedicated area for your dogs to swim and cool off on a hot summers day. The main big creek has water all year round, there is currently a shallow water muddy area being dug out for dogs that aren’t confident swimming in the big main creek area, this is a work in progress and has only just been started so it’s fairly muddy around that area at present. Notes for guests to be aware of: The bank next to the creek has several steep slopes that drop down to the water, so please exercise caution if you have children with you. Winter months mean mud! While the pathways and grass areas are not muddy at present if your dog likes to swim it might pay to bring a towel for the journey home, if you end up with a really muddy dog please send me a message and I will let you into the horse yards to use the hose, please don’t enter without contacting me first as the horses might be in the yards. Farm paradise for city dogs

Tucked away from busy suburbia your dog will get to fully unwind & breath in the country air while exploring our expansive 15acre farm. Swimming in the big river, paddling in the smaller streams & puddles, running free in a natural environment & taking in new smells. We have benches for you to sit on & unwind while watching your dog happily bounce around. As we are a farm our paddocks change from time to time & occasionally you might get to meet our friendly goats & cows or see our sheep grazing the nearby paddocks. Our paddocks and exterior fences are deer fencing. Our farm offers gentle contour, wide open spaces, long grass to bounce in, tons of exciting smells & is fully deer fenced for safety. A hose is available to clean your dog off after their adventure at the front of the stables (dogs will need to be leashed, please let us know so we can turn water on for you), gated entry with a dog waste bin in each paddock. Note - you will still need some control of your dogs as the area is very large. PLEASE ONLY STAY IN PADDOCKS COLOURED BLUE, PURPLE, PINK & LILAC. DO NOT ACCESS OTHER PADDOCKS - a map will be provided upon booking so please keep an eye out for it in your emails/messages. Mostly dog proof fenced except for possible gaps around the turned over tree trunk in the left rear paddock. Please take care, I cannot guarantee an impenetrable fence! Gaps pop up constantly being a farm. There’s a lovely creek running through the property so great for dogs that love splashing in water. Available from 1pm weekdays and all day on weekends. I use this space as a doggy daycare a few times a week but would love for others to get to enjoy it too and let their dogs run free to their hearts content! Parking is fully fenced, drive in and shut the gate behind you. Walk down the run to the fully fenced paddock for play time. Dog toys on us!!

Set in a rural holding in the Franklin area, this is an ideal place to work or exercise with your dog. BarkPark is a 20 Acre Fully Fenced Private Dog Park In Buckland

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD BarkPark is a 20 acre working farm with a mixture of rolling hills and flat paddocks. Walk through the native bush where wood pigeons and tui fly. Native ferns frame the creeks running through the bush. There are plenty of picnic spots under large Totara trees where you can sit and watch your dog have a swim in the pond. On your journey you will see cattle, geese, ducks, turkeys, pukako, rabbits and native birds, and carp in the pond. The entire time will be for you and your dog as each session is pre booked for a specific time slot. We have 3 spoilt dogs which will be indoors for your visit and aviaries with parrots which will hear as you drive past the house up the farm track to commence your journey.
