55Slightly tricky to find the right driveway the first time but easy to do a u turn back. Wonderful spot for our dogs with a dam to swim in, shade, very clean. They had a ball.
45Great sniffspot. Decent space for dog to run around and stretch his legs. Please dont be like me and not read instructions on how to find the place. Its so easy to find, i just happened to drive past it twice 😅 you just have to pull up on the side and open gate to huge parking space. Theres bins for doggy bags but would recommend bringing your own water and toys. Also note, there are horses in the neighboring paddocks. If your dogs are reactive to other animals like mines. The back fences are still wide enough to fit a small-large dog.

55We had such a great time. It was our reactive rescue dogs first time off lead and swimming! He was able to explore, problem solve and build his confidence through new experiences. Being able to just enjoy our time together without worrying was amazing. Thank you!!
45This was my first visit ever to a sniff spot location as a new member. Certain factors and amenities drew my attention to booking this spot. Directions to get there were spot on and the photo of the gate is a great idea. Secure parking is excellent knowing my dogs are safe on exiting the car. The area is exactly as described, my dogs loved it. Negative Points: No drinking water for the dogs (Advertised that there will be) all the containers were turned upside down...a bit of a let down and my dogs ended up drinking out of the pond. The other Negative point is that there was a small bin provided for dog waste, however this was full and a bit smelly. Overall my dogs and I enjoyed our visit, just a small let down about the drinking water and the bin. Thanks
55Our dogs had a great time running around and swimming in the pond. We mainly stayed in the pond paddock away from the road. It was great to have an area just to ourselves that we didn’t have to worry about much while they explored.

All prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Note: The private entrance is on the left, approximately 50m before 623 State Highway 16 (when coming from Kumeū Village). Our spot features open grassy space with mown walking tracks, mature pine trees for shade, natural logs for climbing, and a creek/pond that water-loving dogs will enjoy exploring. It’s a peaceful country setting with plenty of room for zoomies, sniffing, splashing and adventuring. There is off-street parking available. As the entrance is on a busier road, you’re welcome to open the gate and pull fully into the property before letting your dog out of the car so you can unload safely. The two paddocks available for Sniffspot guests are completely separate from the house, giving you privacy and a quiet space to enjoy your visit without interruption. You will have the paddock to yourself during your booking time.
