55Great spot! My dogs had a fun time and we will definitely be back.
55Great place
55Awesome spot and 100% worth the drive! Perfect area to let your dog explore on a trail without other dogs or people.
55The hosts were lovely and responsive, they had dog water and amenities clearly accessible. The property was beautiful: peaceful, clearly-marked trail, plenty of things to sniff and see. I could feel both of us relax in the space. We’ll be back for sure!
55Fabulous spot. Love the trail and trees!! Enrique was great meeting us and making us feel at home.
55Amazing as always, thank you for a great visit
55This spot was great! My insecure and fearful dog loved roaming along the trail, which by the way is perfectly marked and cleared. It is an hour from my house, but I'll definitely be going back!
55Hands down our favorite sniff spot location. Perfect place for pups to explore and humans to get a little exercise as well. Like other reviewers have said and the lovely hosts point out, there are a few spots in the fence where a pup might get out. If your dogs struggle with recall or get carried away with an adventurous spirit, then bringing a long leash would probably be smart. But my crew had the time of their lives and we will 100% be back! Bonus: you can see some goats when there!!
55We always love our time at this spot! The hosts are always so nice. And the property is so big.
55This is an awesome place ! We had so much fun and can’t wait to go back !

Description

🌲🌲🌲The Lost Pines Ranch is a 7 acre property among the Bastrop “Lost Pines”. A unique pine-oak forest just east of Austin. The Lost Pines are the westernmost stand of loblolly pine trees in the United States. Pollen records indicate that pines have grown in this area for over 18,000 years! 🗿🌲🗿 Your dog(s) will have our fully enclosed 7 acre property. The ~.65 mile trail offers lots of PAWportunities to sniff, run, and pee in a State Park like environment. The unique landscape is illustrious for birdwatchers and wildlife lovers! Birders have identified about 250 species in this area. There are occasional white-tailed deer sightings and rabbits. The deer are easily startled and will run away disappearing into the woods 🦌🫣. The trees make for picturesque photos. Animals: Our dogs are in their kennels. We have 5 chickens and 2 adult goats and 2 kid goats in their own enclosure. On a final note, there is a 99% guarantee you will have a zoomie-less dog on your way back home! 💤🐶
