Brook Run Dog Park

This is a private, fully fenced in backyard in the heart of Burlington’s South End. Walkable to downtown and the South end arts district, this little piece of Sanctuary is a fantastic private spot to let your pup sniff and run while you kick back on an Adirondack chair or lounger and enjoy the sunshine (or a rest in the shade!), check out the flower gardens, or have a nap in the hammock. There is a hose in the back, hooked up and running, and digging is permitted next to the hammock as well as in various spots around the yard. Basically, If theres no grass, then digging is fine, though I do request that you try to replace any dirt that gets moved around if it's not in a pre-established space. Poop bags are in a dispenser attached to the fence post on your left when you walk through the gate, as well as on two additional fence posts towards the back of the yard. Please be sure to pick up after your pet! I do my best to sweep the yard a few times a day, but sh*t happens! So, if you come across a stray nugget, please consider picking it up and paying it forward. : ) In the giant blue "Bark Box" next to the entry gate you will find all kinds of treasure including the following! - Dog first aid kit with styptic pads - Complimentary treats - Extra poop bags, and extra garbage bags for the poop bin. - Complimentary all natural bug spray for both you and your pet (human spray is sometimes on the glass table under the orange tent). - Complimentary toys (Usually they are in a bin under the orange tent so they aren't confused with the fresh, "take home" supply.) - Dog toys for take home play including brand new tennis balls, rope toys, squeaky toys, frisbees, and stuffies. Other Bark Park Amenities Include.... - Well lit at night by motion activated solar flood lights! These are mounted throughout the yard and will activate automatically when they sense movement and stay on for 30 seconds at a time, or for the duration of the movement. To save power, they switch off if they do not sense motion. - Doggo Swimming Pool (I try to keep this clean and filled between guests, but if its not clear and sparkly when you get here, feel free to drain it and fill it back up with the hose!). - Designated trash can next to the Big Blue Bark Box by the gate so you dont have to walk to the big bin in the driveway. - A long handled pooper scooper! (If you choose to use the scooper, please still bag your pet's poop before putting it in the bin!) There are chickens in the pen in the back of the yard who are used to dogs, so no worries if your pup can’t keep their eyes off the ladies, or end up rushing or barking at their pen. They are used to dogs and people, and chicken theater is a fantastic way to pass the time! A private hiking trail for dogs and their owners 🐾 there will not be any other dogs out on the trail. Our trail is located in Bolton (Waterbury address). It’s is approximately 1 mile up the mountain. There is a Brook that follows the trail most of the way up. The trail starts out with a nice mowed path and leads you into a beautiful canopy of trees as you head into the woods and it quickly turns into a steep uphill hike. We have 135 acres for you to adventure on ! Please follow the signs for the trail head parking - go all the way past the barn outfront and you will see a sign on your right.

Nestled in a cul-de-sac with seasonal lake views, your pup can enjoy a private, fenced-in wilderness area to run and play! There are definitely lots of spots to Sniff, as three dogs currently live here. 🙃 No dogs will be outside when you book, and parking is near the basketball hoop, entry to the left of yellow house using the wood fence.

Parking is occasionally busy due to business hours at Kickback Brewery- but once you’re past the driveway it’s privacy! A field and wooded area at your disposal! Brewery is only open on occasional weekends!Please ask any questions !

Welcome welcome! We are so glad to offer you a safe and expansive refuge to come play at! The entry to the Sniff Spot is via the gate to the LEFT OF THE GARAGE! Please pick up after your pooches and dispose of the bags in the garbage can! Also return all balls / toys to the bin by the gate. The other half of the fenced yard (totally separate / closed from one another) is for the full-time furbabes of our home so thank you for staying out of that part of the yard. We have a wonderful brood of feathered friends on property too. They are literally the cutest. Their secure coop does border the sniff spot so please note that they could be out and about within their fenced area during your visit; it’s your responsibility to ensure your pup(s)* doesn’t dig at the fence line or cause unnecessary stress to our beloved chickens. NOW REOPENED FOR 2023 AS OF 4/10! I have an amazing spacious fully fenced in back yard with a reinforced raised deck that will be perfect for your dog! It is full fenced and has an entrance located on the left hand side for easy access in and out! Your dog will have a great time running in the grass or hanging out in the shade under the deck! Parking is right out front in my driveway. Located in a nice quiet and safe neighborhood in Essex Junction.

New, fully fenced half acre mowed field. Plenty of space for your dog(s) to stretch their legs and get out all their zoomies! Plenty of toys, drinking water and places to investigate! Fence is 4ft high with wooden footboard. Fence is welded metal…..Your dog(s) will be safe and contained. Park located ~1 mile down a dead end dirt road with minimal car traffic and moderate pedestrian traffic. West side of park parallels road with a steep bank and ~15ft separating it. To the South is hayfield and our house is to the North. Our house is ~30ft from North side of park, but fully visible. To the East, enjoy views of Georgia Mountain and Mount Mansfield (in Winter months). Pooper scooper, poop bags, hand sanitizer and receptacle available but please pack in pack out all other trash.

Approx 3.5 acres of land on our property, with our house sandwiched in the middle. Please park along the split rail fence next to the house (do not block garage). Then walk down the small hill and through some woods along some trails and find a little stream/offshoot of the wetlands that span across VT 15, or enjoy some play time in the open field. You may spot some rabbits, deer or turkeys in the woods while you’re exploring! Feel free to make your own trail walking through the woods - there’s a path at the beginning and then it’s fairly free reign. Feel free to message with questions during your explore time.
