My sniffspot is not just a fenced-in piece of property but a curated area designed for canine sensory enrichment. Everything is allowed in this area, including digging and destroying things. I only ask that you clean up your dogs' poop.

This is a SNIFF spot, not an agility course. Items in the garden are for smelling and exploring at the dogs own choice, speed, and ability. Do not lure your dogs into engaging with any objects to prevent risk of injury or trauma. This is a sensory enrichment garden where digging and destruction of provided materials is encouraged. Native plants present so please supervise dogs to prevent ingestion of unknown plant material. Plants in pots are dog-friendly and edible.

Located in Warren, just under 30 minutes from Plymouth, and minutes away from the Baker River and other lovely walks and attractions, is 29 acres of private trails and bushwhacking, backed by conservation (also great bushwhacking!) and National Forest after that. There is a dog on site if you’re looking for doggy playtime and someone to run with- or you can venture alone with a small amount of notice. This site also hosts two pet-friendly forest Airbnb’s though it’s not usual to run into others. There is a small-ish vernal pond (usually stays somewhat full all year) at the bottom of the property if you’re looking to play in the mud- if not it’s easy to avoid. There are penned chickens in a coop at the main dwelling.
