Private 20-Acre Wildlife Preserve with Nature Trails and Water Access

Bring your fur babies to this beautiful private wildlife preserve in Gerrardstown. Our private property features nature trails that lead to a 7 acre pond and private access to Back Creek. Your pups can take a swim in the pond or splash around in the beautiful crystal clear creek on the backside of the property. There are otters in the pond so be watchful that your fur babies don’t have a negative interaction with the wildlife. We only host one booking at a time so the full 20.56 acres will be yours for the time you reserve. Additionally this property has three main areas. At the base of the driveway, you will find a forested area with clearing to sit in the shade and let your pups play with the available dog toys or explore. Make your way to the back of that first main area to begin your first nature trail which leads you straight to the beautiful 7 acre pond where more seating is available. From the pond there’s another winding trail that takes you through the backside of the forest and then opens up on Back Creek. Parking: You can park at the top of the driveway, on the side of the road, or you can bring your vehicle down the driveway. For small cars it is recommended To park at the top of the driveway due to unlevel terrain. Before you leave the property: please clean up all of your dog waste and dispose of in the waste bins along with any trash. And please place the dog toys back in the bin. Our spot is 10 acres of open flat land with a large spring-fed pond. It's perfect for dogs that love to swim, play long distance fetch, or just run in open space. We provide a large selection of toys, 30ft floating leash, extra poop bags, and a dedicated waste bin. *PLEASE READ* I HAVE A POOL! Dogs, and their humans, are welcome in the pool by booking the appropriate EXTRA. Treating the pool for dogs cost extra and as such I need to charge so as to not lose money by offering it to guests. Two humans per dog is the limit. Please be mindful of this when booking. Thank you for respecting this rule. The pool bathroom IS AVAILABLE for your use while enjoying the park. Be sure to keep it clean and tidy as this is a shared space. Thank you! Plenty of space for your pup(s) to run around and get their zoomies out and lots of chairs, and plenty of parking which is saying a lot for northern Virginia.
