Our spacious backyard is fully fenced in with 4 gates, two of which are accessible for entry. The main gate is opened by a FOB which can be left outside for easy retrieval. Our dog loves to look at the chickens next door, play fetch, and chew on the many sticks in the yard. A large water bowl can be provided for pet use and drinks can be provided for animal parents upon request. We have hammocks and plenty of shaded area in the yard. We have kids and their toys are out and about, and we welcome families to use them. Your pet won’t get bored exploring this giant play area.

Pondside Paws Park

Welcome to Pondside Paws Park, located in a quiet valley 15 minutes outside of downtown Asheville NC. Here you will find a peaceful, fully fenced in half acre lot with a pond for your pups to swim, romp, sniff, play and have a great time. For those more adventurous dogs, there's even a dock for jumping into the pond! There are opportunities for enjoying the pond regardless of your dog's age or exercise ability, as there is a shallow area with tall grass for wading and splashing, and a deeper area for swimming. The slope of the land is gentle for those older dogs as well- this spot is suitable for dogs of all ages and abilities. For the humans, we have several seating options including a picnic table and 4 chairs under a shade sail. Bug spray, sunscreen, fresh drinking water for the dogs and a tote full of toys is also provided in the weatherproof storage shed next to the seating area. Waste bags are available if needed, although we appreciate people bringing their own, and there is a waste container located at the entrance, next to the kiddie pool that is used to rinse off muddy paws. It's recommended that you bring a towel to dry them off before getting back into your car. We hope you enjoy the spot and leave it as you found it for others to enjoy as well.

Abigail's Barkyard Basecamp!

.75 acres in lovely East Asheville, convenient to town! The yard has two private gated entrances on either side of the home, perched at the top of the hill. Make yourself at home and relax on the comfy outdoor furniture by the firepit or the hammock while your pup zoomies to their heart’s content. There's plenty of dog toys for tug or toss, plus tennis balls and throwers for the Fetch Fanatics—and even a fancy pooper scooper to save your back. Our neighbors on either side do have dogs, and you may occasionally see them out and about-- but they mostly mind their own business (though the Husky on one side might yodel a hello), and all fencing is private/ not shared so there is no possible fence contact. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so an indoor bathroom is available if needed, along with WiFi if you need to stay connected during your visit. We also have two mini Aussies (one tiny, one shmedium). We'd be happy to set up a safe play date if anyone is ever interested, but they stay inside and can't see the backyard so your visit is totally private! We fully understand that sometimes you want a private dog park for a reason! There's a water hose on the back of the home to fill water bowls, as well! We always try to pre-fill these before visitors come, but the spigot can be turned on anytime more water is needed.

A large pasture with fencing around everywhere. Bring a towel and enjoy! Chairs and picnic table, a hammock provided creekside! There is even a 10x16 Covered Gazebo! We hope you like it! Please do not bring more dogs than you have made your reservation for. If something changes please contact customer service and they can add dogs to your current reservation. No Digging! This spot Less than 10 minutes from Exit 53 on I-26! Making it the perfect place to stretch your legs before traveling on! It has everything you need: - Flat- though the ground is uneven - Drive in access so you can park inside the 12" gate into the fenced area with your pets! - A custom built gazebo for shelter from the sun and rain - No drive by traffic - No people walking by - Full view of your pet while they run and play! - Games for people and dogs are already onsite! - Please remember to bring water for you and your pets.
