Large Private Fully-Fenced Yard – Shaded, Skyline Views (Oakhurst/Cotswold)
Large private backyard in 28205 — a spacious in-city yard with mature oak trees providing shade across nearly half the property and open skyline views of downtown Charlotte. With no homes behind the property and one neighboring house currently unoccupied, the yard feels surprisingly open and private despite being close to the city. Ideal for: • Dogs that need room to sprint • Owners looking for private off-leash space • Apartment or small-yard dogs needing extra room Features: • 6’ privacy fencing around the majority of the yard • 4’ fence section along the driveway (not recommended for known escape artists or high jumpers) • Flat, well-maintained grass • Large shaded areas from mature oak trees • No rear neighbors + skyline view • Simple, low-touch access Please Note: • Property is located near an active rail line. Trains pass intermittently every few hours and the whistle can be loud. Most dogs are unbothered, but noise-sensitive dogs may want to consider before booking. • Property includes a rope swing. Use at your own risk. • Dogs must be supervised at all times and waste must be removed. • Please ensure the gate is securely closed when entering and exiting. Spacious. Private. In the city.

We have an amazing large backyard with a large deck. The deck can be blocked off with dog gates so you can just enjoy the yard. We have a dachshund but he had an accident and is paralyzed now so we don’t spend as much time in the yard as we used to. Please pick up your dogs poop if they use the bathroom in the yard.

Facebook video for property description! https://www.facebook.com/reel/857593750109937 This is a very quiet place on a country road where your dogs can be off leash and free to explore nature. The full four acres are surrounded by a 5 foot fence and there is a small creek running through the property. There is a wide spot in the creek that is easily the most popular spot for our canine visitors! In the summer, though, the creek dries up until the fall rains come. You can always message us to find out if there is water in the creek before your visit. There are larger fields and open areas for your dogs to practice their retrieving, and there are many paths in the woods for hiking. The beginning of each path is marked with quartz stones to show you the way. You will also find several benches scattered throughout the property so that you can take a load off while your dogs run and play. When it rains the property can be quite wet in some areas, so bring boots and a towel to clean off your muddy (but happy!) dog. There is a full competition size agility field within the four acres. The agility equipment is completely fenced in and will be accessible only to those who have had at least one formal beginner's agility class. This is to keep you and your dog safe and to prevent misuse of the equipment. Please message the host when you book the spot and before your first visit to discuss your agility experience if you are wanting to access the equipment. **I would really like for your first visit to be on a weekend or a Tuesday (my day off) so that I can meet with you to show you some details about the property and discuss parking. After the first visit, book whenever you want! If you absolutely cannot make it these days for your first visit, we can work something out. 🙂

Brady's Private, Fully Fenced Dog Yard in Charlotte
Our secure, fully fenced backyard is available for pups who need a safe place to run, sniff, and play off-leash. We don’t use the yard as often as we should, so we’re excited to share it with dogs who could really benefit from some private outdoor time. This spot is especially great for apartment dogs who need room to stretch their legs, or reactive dogs who prefer a quiet, low-stress environment without other dogs around. What we offer: 🏡Fully fenced, secure yard 🎾Tons of dog toys for all play styles 💧Fresh water and treats for pups 🗑️Trash can & poop bags provided 🧼Hand sanitizer and bug spray available 🪑Chairs and seating for humans to relax Whether your dog wants to zoom, sniff, play fetch, or just soak up some fresh air, this yard is a simple, safe, and comfortable place to do it. We aim to make both dogs and humans feel welcome and at ease. If you have any questions before booking, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to help!
