Park District issued dog permit must be carried and visible at all times when in dog park. The Spring Avenue Dog Park is open sunrise to sunset. All persons are entering and using the park at their own risk. No more than two dogs per person allowed at one time. Do not allow unregistered members into the Dog Park. Only enter through the entrance of the Dog Park. All members of the Dog Park must follow traffic and parking regulations of the Spring Avenue parking lot. Dogs must be on a leash until entering the dog park and when returning to the parking lot, no exceptions. Please remove pinch and spike collars from your dog prior to entering the dog park. Dogs must wear current license tag and be up-to-date on shots (parvo/distemper/rabies). Proof of current rabies vaccination and valid rabies vaccination tag number for each dog registered. Carry a leash at all times and leash your dog at the first sign of aggression. Direct supervision & voice control of your dog(s) is required at all times. No females in heat allowed in the Dog Park and no puppies under the age of 6 months. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult and behave appropriately. For safety reasons children must be closely supervised by an adult at all times. Children will be expected to behave in an appropriate manner: no running, no chasing dogs, no petting of other dogs unless permission is granted from the owner first. Do not bring rawhide or food into the park as dog fights may result. Be polite: pick up dog feces and dispose of the dog feces in the waste receptacles, which are available throughout the park. Failure to pick up after your dog could result in a $250.00 fine per Glen Ellyn Park District Ordinance 4.02. Fill in any holes your dog(s) digs throughout the dog park. Watch your step. Dog(s) running at play can unintentionally collide with park users. SpringAvenue Dog Park Rules andRegulations No dogs known to be aggressive toward other dogs or people may enter the dog park. Reports of an aggressive dog must be substantiated and will be investigated. To report an incident or if Police assistance is needed call 911.
