We’ve tried to think of all the little details to make your visit easy and enjoyable, including trail maps with distances, fresh drinking water for both you and your dog, towels for muddy paws or wet fur, and easy parking on asphalt. We’re dog lovers ourselves and have two rescue pups who will be safely secured inside our home during your reserved time so you can enjoy uninterrupted access to the property. Whether you’re here for a long walk or just to let your dog run wild, we hope it feels like your own private retreat.

Please include number of dogs and people/cars in your message. 📍Spot Details 📍 Large open, fenced-in backyard in a quiet neighborhood. There is lots of space for your dog(s) to run, and ample room to play fetch. There is plenty of outdoor seating to relax while you watch your dog(s) play and explore. The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car beds, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including tons of tennis balls, and several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.i

Snoopy's Spot Private Dog Park In Gaithersburg

Large fenced in backyard. Open space to run and play. Patio with umbrella table and four swivel chairs. If the chairs are tipped up onto the table when you arrive, please feel free to put them back down on the patio. I tip them up, as the birds are active in that area, and I am trying to keep the chairs clean of bird poop. Two trees for shade. Various dog toys that are cleaned after each visit. A bag to put used/dirty toys in. A bug zapper with a light that hangs from the umbrella handle. It needs to be turned on and off with the rubber button tabs. I recharge it after visits. A kiddie pool as an extra (June - September). Lights for nighttime play! Please park in the street in front of the house. Enter through the gate on the right side of the house. If I have advance notice and I am home, I will leave a cold bowl of filtered water on the back steps. Bug spray, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, paper towels, dog treats, and a dog first aid kit are in the bin on the umbrella table.  If you bring your own bowl and I wasn’t able to leave one out, please feel free to use the hose and water from the spigot on the back of the house to the right of the sunroom behind the umbrella table. Please make sure you turn it off when you are finished. Water to that spigot will be winterized (turned off) once the temperature drops below 32° and will be de-winterized (turned on) in the spring when the temperatures warm up. There will always be a jug of fresh filtered water on the back steps for use. There is a garbage can with a plastic bag in it on the left side of the door to the shed for discarding your poop bags. Please knot your poop bags and make sure the lid is closed tight. The spigot on the right front of the shed is not potable but can be used for cleaning or cooling your dog down. The spigot tends to spray, so stand as far to the left as you can when turning it on if you don’t want to get wet! This system will be winterized (turned off) during the winter months. New toys will be added and rotated on a regular basis. Toys can be found in the plastic bin on the patio table. Please feel free to help yourself to what is in the bin, keeping in mind to leave some clean toys for the next guest in case I am not home to clean them in-between visits. Please place any toys that you used in the bag hanging on the umbrella handle so I know which ones need to be cleaned. After each use, I wash and sanitize each of the toys that were used. I just added a small bug zapper. The bug zapper is hanging from the handle of the umbrella. Push the ON switch to turn it on, and you will see a blue glow. There is also a button to turn a light on that gets brighter in three stages. This bug zapper needs to be charged, so when you leave, please remember to turn it off. Please try to keep your dog from walking into or laying in the decorative grass around the perimeter of the sunroom. In the Spring/Summer there will be an 18 inch high green metal fence in front of the back garden. Please try to keep your dog(s) from jumping the fence so that the flowers can grow and bloom for all of our enjoyment. The wooden bench in front of the garden recently became wobbly, and it may not be stable to sit on. I am looking into getting it fixed.  I am working on building a designated digging area and will notify guests as soon as it is complete. Please disregard any bare spots in the grass. I am trying to dig out and get rid of the patches of crabgrass that have taken over the yard since opening Snoopy’s SniffSpot, due to not using any pesticides or chemicals for the safety of the dogs. These bare areas will be reseeded as soon as possible. I may end up putting short fences around the newly seeded areas in order to keep the spot open and keep the seeded areas able to grow. Enjoy just over 1/4 acre (100 x 40 ft) fully fenced backyard. 6ft vinyl privacy fence, practically escape proof (pups under 10lbs could fight really hard to wiggle under the gate). Well worn outdoor couch(es) and chair hammock for the humans. Pups welcome on the couches too. Easy access to poop bags and trash cans.

Zen Paw Ranch

Hello fellow pet parents! We have a total of three lush green acres available for your beloved pet friends to explore. The space is fully-fenced. Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard.
