Juniper Forest

We have 3 acres of land. You’ll mostly enjoy the back two acres where we have a few trails through our “juniper forest.” We also have a large plot of open field, flowers, a fire pit and an outhouse for human use. Our property has chickens(in an inclosed area), a dog who we’ll keep inside unless your dog is friendly with dogs (ours is a very friendly gentle giant Great Pyrenees mix), we also have a large cat who will almost always stay out of sight. Happy to leave out a dog bowl with water and also some poop bags! We have chairs around the fire pit you’re welcome to use. Enjoy your stay!

You can hike on designated trails, on mowed fields or use the ponds for water training for hours with your pup(s). Our farm has: ✔️ Abundant wildlife! ✔️ Wide-open, completely unfenced land ✔️ Natural terrain with fields, hills, and trails ✔️ Ponds, streams and endless sniffing opportunities Parking & Arrival: Please park to the right of the big red barn, by the dumpster and begin walking from there. The farm sits on a very sharp curve, so use caution when entering and exiting the property. Dogs must be on leash when exiting your car and near the road. Once you are safely away from the road and barn, dogs may be off leash for the remainder of your visit. If your dog has never been off leash, we recommend you have an airtag or a GPS collar on them. Please do not let your dog leave the designated walking areas on our farm. Occasionally, you may see an older grampa (my father) working in the fields.

I have a total of two acres available for SniffSpot. One is the main area that you immediately enter and is fully fenced. An additional area that is further back behind a cattle gate is available for use but unfenced at this time. We offer toys, water, water bowls, parkour equipment, lots of toys and a small pool for the summer. Long games of fetch or frisbee. Tug. If you dog loves to sniff there are lots of fox, deer and other creatures in the area to enliven your dogs nose! Easy parking available. We can even accommodate large groups or even your puppies birthday party!

Come let your dog romp around my historic home in my fenced acre back-yard. Sit in the tree swing or relax on the bench. Refreshing for dogs and humans! Home adjacent to Goshen Branch Stream Valley Park. Lots of open space and privacy. Help yourself to toys, poop dogs, and water for the dogs inside the smokehouse. Fresh water is put out frequently (as long as I'm in town!!)My yard is best for dogs that are NOT reactive. MY YARD IS NOT THE BEST CHOICE FOR DOGS DETERMINED TO ESCAPE! I have neighbors who use their back yards and have pets and children!

The back right corner of the yard has a play area with a playhouse, caterpillar tunnel, tire tunnel, climbing cube, climbing dome, car beds, the biggest tire you’ve ever seen, and hammock. We also have a bunch of dog toys, including tons of tennis balls, and several herding balls of various sizes. Part of our yard is shady and part is sunny. You get the best of both worlds. The pool is completely fenced off from the rest off the yard. You don’t have to worry about your dog(s) accidentally falling in. Our yard is handicap accessible. There are no stairs to climb. The entrance to the backyard is a flat grassy area. The gate leading to the back yard is wide enough for a wheelchair or power chair. The yard has a slight incline, but there are no major obstacles that would prevent a wheelchair from moving around. We are located in Sykesville, MD which is about 30 mins from Baltimore and Columbia. 15 minutes from Owings Mills, Ellicott City, and Westminster.

This is a 60'x120' indoor arena with a sand base. Sliding windows will be closed in cold weather. Large sliding door will be open to enter and can be closed for secure playing. There are 3 horses, on the property and 3 barn cats. We do not currently have any dogs, so a very safe play spot.

Zen Paw Ranch

Hello fellow pet parents! We have a total of three lush green acres available for your beloved pet friends to explore. The space is fully-fenced. Our fence is a 3.5 foot high cattle fence with wire mesh. The entrance to our spot is a large metal swing gate. The spot has cut short-grass. There are lots of deer among other animals in the area so your dog can have their own sniffing adventure! No need to worry if your dog is reactive because these animals usually keep their distance. We have digging areas and poop bags. We also have some wood planks that could possibly be used for agility jumps (See pictures). You can enjoy a chill hangout at the picnic table, or relax on the lawn chairs while watching your pup. Hand sanitizer, sunscreen, and a trash can will be provided as well. At this time we are not able to offer water or doggy bowls. The area is quite tranquil; you can enjoy birds chirping or even meditate. Portable lawn chairs are also accessible. It’s a perfect place to take some time off from daily life struggles and relax; both for you and your furry friend! Shady spots are available during any time of the day if you don’t like to be under the sun. We would love to see your furry friends enjoying our yard. Mark's 5 Acre Unfenced Private Dog Park In Kearneysville

There is a road bordering property. If your dog is off leash he/she needs strong recall. Also, pond is very muddy, I dont recommend swimming for dogs. There are a few short trails around the property. I don't have a lot of restrictions as I probably will be at the house when you are there. I only ask that visitors do not allow animals on house property such as porches and wood walkways. We are approachable if you see us outside and encourage it. Our beloved GSD 'Samantha' passed a year ago and we miss seeing her running through the fields. Deer on property daily but they will avoid you generally with canines. If your pet has an unhinged prey drive I'd probably bag it since I border several acres of wooded property with zero containment. Thick, unmanaged forest!

Open & fresh air & has a lovely view. Completely doggy fenced. Wood with wire. The yard has a slope as it is on a hill although quite a bit of it is flat. Come check us out if you like peace, tranquility & and a zen atmosphere despite being right off of Route 7.
