We host a beekeeper who has about 40 hives on a well-marked and avoidable section of one trail. The bees are out only from April to October but please avoid the hives anyway. We have a very large, fully fenced front yard with gate access from parking lot. *Please note there is an operating dog kennel at the back of the house* You will hear other dogs barking but you will not see them. There are other animals on the property as well. Horses & goats in back yard, chickens & cats free roam. These animals will not approach when with a dog, but leash training & a good grip required for all dogs on the walk from the car to the play yard. This yard goes unused aside from our two personal dogs that do not take advantage of it. We are hoping it can bring joy to other dogs in need. Great spot for lots of running! Fully Fenced but a small portion is wire fencing (used to be electric fencing but no charge in them now), so might not be appropriate for some small dogs who tend to escape. There is a picture showing that fencing. ☀️ On those hotter days, take advantage of our mostly shaded trails… or if you just need that extra adventure. (*** Trails are not in fenced area) Follow the beautiful manicured trail that wraps around our fields. Eight to ten minutes will get you to the opening of our picturesque gully trail. Gully… so yes that means a hill… but it is gradual. The scenery and the sounds of nature make it so worthwhile. And if your dog loves water, there is the stream to cool off in. 💦 For best trail stay on same side of bridge. (Don’t cross over) OR if not feeling like a gully trail is for you, you can just continue your walk past the opening and enjoy the flat ground around field 🙂 ENJOY! 😊
