Our farm is open fields, tons of trees to play hide and seek in, and lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim. There are ungroomed “walking trails” that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space. It is not just a place to run — it is a thoughtfully designed environment where dogs can move at their own pace, build confidence, and enjoy off-leash freedom without the pressure of a public dog park. Price reduced to $15/hour for fall/winter months! Our Sniffspot will remain OPEN year-round! You're still welcome to enjoy the property, explore the woods, and access the lake with your pup. Just keep in mind that seasonal amenities will no longer be available. IMPORTANT REMINDERS - ABSOLUTELY NO smoking, vaping, open flames, campfires, charcoal grills, or fireworks anywhere on the property. These camps are cherished family properties, and due to shoreline regulations, a camp lost to fire likely could not be rebuilt in its current location. - Chairs and docks: Being put away for winter. You're welcome to bring your own chairs to enjoy the little beach area! - Water: The outdoor spigot will be shut off for winter, so please bring drinking water for yourself and your pup. - Dog waste: Please carry out all dog waste, as trash cans will not be available during the winter months. Open year-round, this private 5+ acre Sniffspot offers plenty of room to roam, explore, and swim on a beautiful peninsula extending into Balch Lake. Park at the top of the hill and enjoy a scenic walk down, giving your pup a true "Sniffari" experience along the way. At the end, you'll be rewarded with peaceful lake views and a wonderful spot for your dog to explore, splash, and play. Prefer not to walk? You're welcome to drive directly down to the lake access area. The property is unfenced but very private, with the peninsula providing a natural barrier and minimal outside traffic. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR VISIT - Access road: The road is sand and gravel. Sturdy footwear is recommended if walking. - Road conditions: Rain and seasonal weather can create ruts, and the road is due for grading. - Driving down: SUVs and trucks are recommended. Sedans can typically make it down as well (ours does!), but please use your best judgment, particularly during wet, icy, or snowy conditions. - Lake activity: Balch Lake is shared, so you may see boats, kayaks, paddleboards, and occasionally dogs accompanying boaters on the water. - Sounds across the lake: Sound travels easily over water, so people and dogs may sound much closer than they actually are. - Off-leash safety: As with any unfenced property, please make sure your dog has reliable recall or keep them leashed according to their abilities and your comfort level. - Winter visits: Please plan accordingly, as seasonal amenities will be unavailable and paths, roads, and shoreline areas may be slippery. Nonesuch Meadows Farm

Enjoyable farm fields with lots of room for dogs to roam and play. Wildlife does show up at times, anywhere from deer, turkeys, skunks and porcupines. Our main field does abut a golf course, and often get stray balls fly over the fence into our field. To avoid being hit by one, I’d recommend staying more towards the middle to right of the field. During deer season we do require the owner and dog to be wearing orange, and don’t have guests come on Saturdays. We do hay our fields in the summer (May/June-September) time, and once that begins we will set up a schedule with specific areas that can be utilized.

Bear Brook Canine Camp

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. Main entrance to the yard can be found by entering the second driveway and parking in the designated parking area in front of the solar barn. We do not plow that driveway in the winter as it’s just gravel. So, feel free to park at the bottom of my driveway and walk to the SS gate if you’re not comfortable using the SS driveway in the winter. We ask that you please adhere to our 24 hour notice when changing or canceling a reservation. We are always fully booked on weekends and most weekdays too.
