Does life feel “ruff” sometimes? Maybe it’s time to run free in an enclosed private backyard with lots of grass. Or are you looking to “make your mark” in this world? Or perhaps you just want to “paws” and relax in the shade. If so, then Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for you....and your awesome human, too! Shaggy’s Shack in Tempe has lots of grass for running, chasing balls, and doing the zoomies! It’s fully enclosed with a 5 to 6-foot block wall and more than 25 trees and bushes to explore. You can play fetch with tons of toys and there’s a designated digging spot, too. Or maybe you just want to cool off in a diving pool that’s professionally cleaned every Wednesday–even during Tempe’s cold months. Oh, and Shaggy’s Shack also has features shaded chairs for your human to relax as they watch you explore, play fetch, swim, and have a pawsitively good time. Shaggy’s Shack’s residents (and their humans) will be home but out of sight. The entire lot is just shy of a half-acre, and it’s conveniently located in Tempe. Many dogs live in the area, they may bark in greeting when they hear you. We offer many pawsome amenities at Shaggy’s Shack, including bags and a trash can for your nature calls and a disposable water dish with lots of fresh water (and water for your human, too). Clean towels for drying off after you’ve doggie-paddled in the pool are also provided. Of course, use of the pool is at your and your human’s own risk. The pool is chlorinated and not heated in the winter months. Your human may use the pool to get a closer look at your pawsome doggie paddling technique. While we provide towels for you, we ask that your human brings their own towels. There is no fence or gate around the pool, and we strongly encourage you to bring your own doggie life vest if you do decide to get your paws wet. Discounts are available for multiple dogs. Visit times can be extended if there is availability. Respecting Sniffspot’s 30-minute transition time between visit times is very important. So that no one gets hurt or gets into something that could be dangerous, glass, alcohol and smoking are prohibited. All pups need to be up-to-date on all vaccinations to keep our resident and visiting doggos healthy. Since Shaggy’s Shack Sniffspot is for dogs, please be mindful of your doggie to human ratio; kids are welcome but must be 100% supervised, especially around the ungated, unfenced pool. Our goal is to make your time at Shaggy’s Shack loads of fun for you and your human so you’ll come back again and again. Welcome to Sunny Day Lawn! 🐾 A spacious, private backyard with a large open lawn made for running, playing fetch, sniffing, and exploring. Our yard is surrounded by fruit trees, plants, and plenty of interesting smells for curious pups. While your dog runs loose, kick back and relax on our outdoor couch under the shade umbrella. We provide tennis balls, fresh water, poop bags, and access to the garden hose for pups who love to cool off and play in the water. You’ll also have access to our back porch utility sink with soap for washing up after your visit. Your reservation is your time to enjoy the yard—come relax and let your pup run, sniff, and play! Private access is through the gate in our carport :)

Irrigation timing is not guaranteed and may occur anytime during the listed dates/time window, with water remaining for up to 24 hours. Guests booking potential irrigation dates without the extra may be asked to update their reservation for acknowledgment purposes. The day after an irrigation the ground may be softer, some water may still be absorbing and your pups could have muddy 🐾 paws. Feel free to contact us for more information about irrigation and timing. We do not control irrigation days, and we do our best to block the calendar based on historical irrigation timing. If irrigation unexpectedly interrupts your booking we will fully refund you and provide a discount code for a future booking. ⏱️ Book your favorite time in advance or it may be taken by another sniffer. Advanced bookings are not impacted by price changes. We encourage you to book your favorite day and time in advance. We often have fully booked days so if you book less than a week in advance we could be booked.
