Description

Got a big, energetic dog who needs a lot of space to run? You’ve found it! We are a haven for dogs with Strong Opinions about things! 🤗 Doesn’t love people? Come on over! Hates other pets? That’s cool! Lives to chase and eat squirrels and moles? We’re overrun, you do you! We are blessed with 12 gorgeous acres in the pasture. We also have plenty of wildlife—depending on how rambunctious your dog might be, you may see otters, soft shelled turtles, tortoises, wood ducks, raccoons, armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels. We also have a plentiful supply of water birds—herons, egrets, and more. Parking is on the left side of the road next to the fence. Please bring your own scoop and poop bags, water,and chairs. PLEASE NOTE: We are specifically requesting that you do NOT come to our farm to “check us out” WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. Please respect that is also our home, and we are closed to anyone who doesn’t have an appointment. For our security and the safety of our guests and their dogs, we have surveillance cameras in use at all our entrances.

Hazards

Our horses and donkey will be in the stable, separated from the Sniffspot area while you visit, but there are horse and donkey poo in the pasture as well. Please be advised. Extra: In the wooded location near our house. Bring your bug spray in warm weather. Please watch your step and look out for nature!

This is a working farm and people do have to be outside at times, depending on the needs of our animals. Additionally, our property requires a lot of upkeep, and there may be someone working on a fence, or planting a tree, or servicing a well, etc. If your dog is aggressive towards people off in the distance who are just going about their business, this is not the right exercise spot for you. Please... *No minors unless prearranged with host. *No smoking/vaping of any substance. *Please watch dogs carefully until they do their duty, then... *Please clean up after you dog(s). Failure to do so will result in a ban from this spot. All rules followed will be greatly appreciated!

So much space for your dog to run around in! There's even a wooded area that's also fenced that my dog enjoyed sniffing around in. My dog wasn't too fond of the donkey and horses in their enclosure (he's a big scaredy) but I thought it was hilarious.

Very fun! The animals were very dog friendly, and eveything was well fenced for the most part. If your dogs under 30lbs probably would be vigilant at a few locations, but in general so much space and fine mine had no urge to find a spot to leave. Huge field great for fetch, some neighbor cows and a small little wooded bit for light exploring. Overall would definitely come again, but as many others say be cautious using Google to map here.

This spot is absolutely AMAZING. Our big, energetic dogs are going to be napping for hours. We can’t wait to come back! Note that your gps might have a hard time telling you how to get here- the hosts are wonderful and will help you know where to go.

Visited this lovely pasture with my dog and had a fantastic time! The open and shaded areas, surrounded by trees, provided the perfect setting. The horses were friendly, and Brittany and her husband were incredibly welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend this place for dog owners seeking a safe and enjoyable space.

Great place with open field and woods. Our medium size dog easily slipped under the fence to visit the horses so take care there. Very nice spot.

A huge pasture to let your dogs run in with a nice shaded/wooded area for the dogs to cool off. I would definitely recommend this spot and will be returning in the future!

This is an amazing place. Beautiful and relaxing. Ideal for dogs with good recall and no urge to escape. One of mine was great off leash and got the run of the property and the other got to stay on the long leash. Even on the leash they were both exhausted after we walked the property. Mine had not been around horses or donkeys before and tried to act silly. These are the most tolerant and kind horses I've seen... So sweet to my crazy dogs. There is no trash or water so come prepared to pack it out and stay hydrated. Would definitely recommend as a sweet oasis close to Raleigh ❤️

The yard is completely natural with everything from logs to leap over and run around to sticks they can pick up and carry. There is a deck seating area where human guests are welcome to sit back and relax while their pup gets to explore and burn off some energy. Areas surrounded by natural wildlife you can see everything from bunnies deer to foxes and a plethora of squirrels to chase. There is a friendly dog that lives behind us. She loves to howl and run the fence.

Private backyard on .5 acres in a small South Raleigh Development, Dayton Woods. Partial woods in the rear but fenced all around. Parking in the driveway with gate to fence around the house to the right. Fence is 4FT high. There are 2 plastic pools available. One for small dogs and one for large.

As a rescuer, I totally understand some dog just can't do social (myself, most of the time too) so dog park is a No. SniffSpot is an option for those special pooches. Quiet private Oasis for guests, private 100% fenced yard, sloped grass yard with 3 patio area. A lot to sniff, a lot of stairs to work out those legs. Very clean yard since I pick up after my own dogs daily. You can sit and relax or enjoy your book or bring a date. From the upper patio you can see a beautiful view behind the fences, Squirrels and birds will make your visit more exciting. We're only 3 mins from Fenton, Crossroads plaza, 5 mins from Petsmart, PetCo and 2 mins from Downtown Cary. ***in the summer we add a baby doggie pool, fresh water, right before booking. Bring a towel if your baby loves water*** We provide a shop fan in the summer, who doesn't like some breeze when it's 90 degree!

3 wooded acres backing up to gamelands

We have 3.3 wooded acres set back from the cul de sac and we back up to Duke Progress public game land. We have created a trail out there that connects to a power line cut and 4x4 trails. You can hike for miles if you want and probably won’t see another person. We have a doggy paradise on our 3+ acres.
