An acre of fully fenced in yard, an additional acre of open field (fenced on 2 sides only) with large trees, and a shallow river access that’s great for swimming and playing! The fenced in portion of yard also has kids play equipment available, rocking chairs, and a porch swing. A small picnic table with umbrella is also available for use. We do have neighbors, but because we sit further back than other houses, our yard offers a lot of privacy with woods and a field surrounding us. We often have squirrels, birds, rabbits, deer, turkeys, and geese roaming around! Your pets will enjoy the space to run, river access, and unlimited water! Beautiful isolated 13-acre spot in the country. There is a clear, well-maintained marked trail through the woods to an area with springs, a creek, and a watershed. Moving on down the 1/4 mile driveway past the house is a path down to the Tye River that has a nice-sized riverbank (beach) for romping and water splashing. Swimming dogs can venture onto the rocks to explore the river. Those who want to exercise can hike up/down the stream, climb big rocks, and other obstacles. This highly wooded area has lots to explore “off path” and on path, so you can never experience everything in one visit. This is heaven for dogs and for those who prefer a challenging exploration vs a standard field or yard to explore. The walk to the creek/springs/watershed is a beautiful, relatively easy walk. The river walk, while there is a trail, is pretty steep and rocky, and it's a good workout to get back up. Join us at Bear’s Creek for an adventure your dog will thank you for!
