I love dogs. My old girl Pup Pup passed away February 18th. She was 14 and blind and I miss her dearly. I need dogs in my life but am not ready to get another and maybe never will, so this seems awesome.

My yard always has some shade. By about 3 p.m. the entire backyard is mostly shady. Parking is usually on the street. Occasionally, there will be parking available next to the carport. Entrance to the backyard is next to the carport on the west side of the house.

Fully fenced play yard for dogs and humans!

I have a long yard which is fully fenced with lots of things going on! There is tons for your dog to sniff and investigate and play on. This is a great yard for building confidence or working on agility. I work from home so will usually be around, but won't bug you. My kids are gone during the day so that is when the yard is available. I have 3 dogs but they will be inside. They may be visible through the door, but I'll put them away if they are barking or being a distraction. If I am not home they are in our basement and won't be visible or audible. We have dogs in the yards on either side of us and several houses along the street so usually someone is barking. My neighbors also have chickens, but they are on the opposite side of their yard from our fence. But because our house is set back, the yard feels quite sheltered between my neighbors two houses. There is a privacy covering across the street fence also. I have a buffer fence between my yard and the street fence and my yard and the neighbors yard as one of my dogs is fence reactive and this helps. We have a large swing set, playhouse, treehouse and trampoline so children are welcome to use them also. I also have a covered sand area, but ask that no dogs use this. Water is readily available via hose. Kiddie pool and sprinkler available on request. I'm on a quiet street with adequate parking, and you are welcome to park in my driveway also. We have lots of doves, squirrels, quail, and other birds in the area.

We also have a slatmill your dog can utilize upon request. The area is predominantly grassy, providing ample space for running and playing. The terrain is a mixture of gentle and steep hills, adding an element of adventure to your dog's exploration. Mature trees dot the property, creating a forest-like atmosphere with plenty of shade and interesting scents. We keep up on our pup's every week, but we can pick up before your visit upon request. A highlight of our space is a small, man-made waterfall and pond, introducing soothing sounds and a touch of tranquility. Water features are seasonal and will be dry or turned off during winter. Adjacent to our property are some goats which offer your dog a chance to safely observe farm animals from a distance. We also have a variety of gardens, some maintained and some that are wild, adding to the natural beauty and providing a variety of scents for your dog to discover. Our Sniffspot is designed to be a safe and engaging environment where dogs can explore, play, and relax in a natural setting. We own two dogs who love the yard, and one is extremely friendly and would love a playdate if you so desire. We look forward to welcoming you and your furry friend!

Front yard is available anytime! There is a beware of dog sign at the front gate to notify anyone who may try to enter. There is also a hose and water bowls available for use on the porch. Raspberries and Russian sage grow in the summer and guests are welcome to pick raspberries and take sage clippings. Please watch dogs while on property.
