My name is Sunny, and I'm a full time dog handler and behaviorist/ behavior coach. I love serving and spending quality time with dogs. I offer dog walking/ hiking, home visits, daycare and boarding. I connect with most dogs fairly quickly and would love to help your dog get their daily dosage of physical and mental exercises. This will help remove some of their accumulated energy and keep them in a calm state of mind. I'm available throughout the day for outdoor activities and home visits. For high energy dogs, I offer longer pack walks, nature walks/ hikes, playing fetch or frisbee, and a few more physical and mental exercises. When I'm looking after your beloved pooch for daycare or boarding, you can be rest assured that they'll be treated like my own, and their safety is my first and foremost priority. At home, I strive to maintain a comfortable environment, round the clock fresh water and timely meals (supplied by pet parents), sufficient exercise plus nature walks plus pee and poop 💩 breaks, and baths if needed. My backyard is a private and fully fenced dog park/ agility training center/ sniff spot. As a dog behaviorist, I mostly focus on learning about your dog and then educating the human pack members to create healthy and trusting relationships. I sincerely believe that there's no such thing as a bad dog. And, every such "bad dog" deserves another chance to turn things around and learn to respect and follow their calm and confident humans. I can't say that I'm an expert, but I would love to help. My mission is to meet and help as many dogs and their humans as I possibly can in this lifetime. 🙏🏽🐾

Medium Yard for Dogs in Coquitlam (No Escape Artists!)

IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Figured I'd give this a try since I have such a nice, big, relatively unused backyard! I'm describing it as medium to be conservative, it's about 2500 sqft, give or take. Newly planted fruit trees around the perimeter of the yard along with other fruiting plants including a monstrous blackberry bush that straddles the adjacent property. Warning that there may be spiky vines on the edges of the property! *MAY 2026 UPDATE* The enormous property straddling bramble is GONE, as per the owner's wishes. So while the risk of spikes has gone down, the wall of privacy it created on the left side of the yard is also gone. Less privacy than before, but the neighbors do not own a dog. I hope disturbances are low with this new arrangement! PLUS it's summer, so there are raspberries and blackberries aplenty! But other than that, it's a wide open backyard, with some late day shade provided by the pine trees. The fence is a classic metal chain link, with only the entrance to the yard (more of a baby gate) and one divot in the back that a crafty (but small) canine could squeeze through (I've only ever seen cats use it tho), which is why I titled it "No Escape Artists!". Otherwise with the picnic table provided, it's easy to grab a seat, play with your pets, or just let them explore while you chill! Whole yard is in eyesight (except under the Pine trees). A natural freshet runs along one edge, songbirds are always around, and the occasional rabbit gives the bold ones something to chase. The whole acre is fully fenced with a secure gate, so off-leash is genuinely off-leash. Even the bold rabbit-chasers stay contained. With lots of room to run and play, your pup will love the open space and the variety of scents to discover under the shade of some big trees. There’s even a small trail at the far end of the yard, perfect for curious noses! For a unique touch, our friendly horses are nearby in a separate fenced area, adding a bit of farm charm to your dog’s adventure. It’s a peaceful and private spot for dogs to roam freely, unwind, or play to their heart’s content. Whether you’re looking for a safe place to let your dog run or just want a change of scenery, or wanna throw a big doggy picnic party, we welcome you to enjoy our property! For just an extra $5 charge, we will set up a fire for you to sit around and enjoy while your puppy is having pleasant adventure. You can bring some s’mores and sausages to grill over the flames and enjoy. Fire on us the good vibes on you, let’s have a picnic! DISCLAIMER!!! Since this space is in a horse farm and shared with the horses, you may see horse manure around. We do our best to clean all up before your visit, however, this a 2 acre land we probably won’t get to clean up completely everyday. IMPORTANT: all prices listed are in USD and guests will be charged in USD Fully Fenced beautiful sloping yard with gardens, Orchard, and a small cut lawn as well. It also has a beautiful paved courtyard with a small "pond" (would empty if a st. Bernard plonked down too fast lol) but it is fun for smaller dogs. Will be tested before your visit for harmful bacterial, algae etc. I am happy to brew you a pot of tea or make you a coffee as well. For an additional fee, I can help with training, enrichment, and each visitor gets a wag bag upon arrival with a list of ideas about how to best use the space to give your dog a great day! For an additional fee, you can rent the hot tub for humans only obviously, if your dog is supervised or well behaved. Can also set up a canopy for rainy or sunny days. Just let me know! Yard damage will be a minimum $50 fee for digging holes, and $100 for pulling trees bushes or other plants. It is a very well loved and highly landscaped yard in the summer so its just available until late April when gardening begins! Please feel free to set up your own agility stuff but the yard is very sloped. The wood steps can be very slippery in the heavy rain so please use this space at your own risk!
