K9 Corner STL - Private Dog Run in Webster Groves

This is a privately owned empty residential lot (not a backyard) however there is a neighbor next to the property with a driveway in between. Property is a “pie shape” approximately 2,000 sqft. Fenced section is approximately 130’L with one end at 30’W and the other end at 6’. Entrance is at the corner of Atalanta Avenue and Glen Road. Street parking is on Glen Road (long fence side). The city does not allow signs (see photos for more clarification). This is a residential neighborhood; you will most likely see other people and dogs during your visit but not in the park with you. This is a self regulated private dog park / dog run similar to a regular dog park. There is not water on site however a bowl will be left on site (typically inside the toy box to keep it clean). A pet waste station is available along with a “used” poop bag bucket, trash receptacle, and some dog toys. Please remember to clean up after your dogs, put away toys, and throw away trash. Pesticide free - consider bringing bug spray. To keep moles away, mole spikes that vibrate in the ground are in use and you can hear a buzzing noise. The sand pit / tire area is for digging - please try to keep all digging isolated to the designated area only and try to fill in any holes dug by your dog outside of the pit area. Sun sail is up during spring/summer months only - that’s what the poles are for - no climbing please. Patio umbrellas can be lifted up (use crank) during your visit and MUST BE RETRACTED and use the secure strap at the end of your visit (please use common sense and do not put the umbrellas up if it’s super windy). There is a 5 dog max. We prefer no more than 3 humans to 1 dog; please use the “extra feature” for more visitors. Dogs should NEVER be left unattended. Please note. This park is for dogs to enjoy. This park is NOT a playground for kids/adults. The obstacles, agility equipment, and toys are for the dogs. Humans should not be climbing on the equipment or mis-using the toys. The neighbor does not want toys or tennis balls hitting their vehicles. If we see this type of behavior or rules not being followed, you will potentially be banned from future reservations. *Please understand this is mostly a self-regulated dog run/park. You MUST cleanup after your dog. However sometimes poop gets missed and I give everyone the benefit of the doubt it’s not done intentional. This beautiful backyard comes complete with two large shade trees, a hammock stand (bring your own hammock), a covered deck with seating, and lovely native gardens (all pet safe plants) and is backed with a large common ground that sometimes hosts deer. We provide a medium size stock tank that you are welcome to fill and let you dog have water play, we also have a sandbox that is just for digging fun! We also provide a poop scoop and bucket to allow you to dispose of any poop.

There is a soccer goal, Gaga ball pit, disc golf basket, etc. Please bring your own balls and discs. *Play at your own risk* Paver entrance is on side of the house. And there is a gate on both sides of the yard. Please be sure to close gate behind yourself when you leave. There is a container of bags on the table. Please use the small shovel to clean up after your dog. Please dispose in the small stainless steel trash can, next to the back door.

When you walk past the house and beyond the single tree, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world; it’s actually quite peaceful back there. I try to keep the grass semi-trimmed, and you’ll often notice many deer roaming around! There is a hammock and chairs available under the single tree. Bug spray and dog bags can also be found there. Near the deck, you will find a hose and a water container. Additionally, there is a trash can in my driveway on your right as you exit. Other than that, your dog has a wide open area to run as much as they want! 🐶
