It is so nice to see a sniffspot pop up in the hill country and at a winery no less! They accommodated us being way off on traffic and being late which was very appreciated. I have 2 sighthounds who run without abandon and I have to mention it was a bit of a minefield. This is a vineyard surrounded by a fence without a really large open area to run. The dogs were loving running up and down the rows but there were a lot of spiky cactus laying in the rows. We then pulled them to the outside perimeter and my dog was running and hit one of the wires staking down a post. We did recommend that they cover these wires with something to make them easy to see when heading out and they took note. It was hard even for our human eyes to see them from afar and this is a huge danger to dogs running and having the times of their lives. If you are hoping for your dogs to really run about freely, I can’t say this was it. I was really anxious they were going to hurt a leg or worse. But if your dog just meanders and isn’t going to be running, then this would be a better option. Would love to see some changes and more open space to run in the future. Really great customer service at the winery & a lot of potential.
This sniff spot is really nice. The convenience of the winery and restaurant in a walking range is nice. Because the space was used for growing grape vines, there are some metal wires that were hard for my dogs to see so do be cautious. Other than that it’s a great space.
Becca’s spot was a defect for a lot lace to let the dog run and play after a long time on the road. The lot was pretty, lots of open space. The gated area for the dog was huge and she loved running through the rows and exploring. If we are ever driving through again I will definitely come back!
A beautiful location and the staff on the property are super helpful and friendly. Our Tammy ran around and did her zoomies while we were there. We were told that we were the second person who booked and came, so that means we are SniffSpot famous! There's also outdoor seating, wine, and food if you want to sit and eat with your pup! Definitely coming back! They are also planting peach trees in the back of the area where you can take your dog. Awesome 😎
