The dogs love this spot. Just enough wooded area to run and sniff the entire visit.😄

A great Sniffspot with lots of room for the dogs to explore and run. There are also nice trails for the dogs and owners to walk. The host is very responsive and helpful.

Always a great place to take my 2 big pups. They love the room to run and sniff in the fields and have a blast when we walk through the trails!

We had a fantastic time. The spot was as described and the host was very communicative and kind. We did not see or hear any other dogs during our visit. We came on a frosty morning and really enjoyed the nice, wide trails!

Incredible place! Trails and a huge open area to play fetch.

  • Connie S., Oct 2, 2023

One of our favorite sniffspots! Very grateful to have access to a serene space where my dog has room to actually run. Great space to practice recall all well.

  • Casey P., Sep 29, 2023

Another great visit! So much room for the dogs to run and play! We also love the trails to work on walking together.

  • Maddy M., Sep 23, 2023

Great communication from host and a great space with a mix of wooded trails and field. The hill to enter/exit is steep so wouldn’t be good for anyone with mobility issues. Left with a tired and happy pup!

  • Ally F., Sep 17, 2023

Had fun and my dogs enjoyed it! Nice mix of open fields and trails. Follow the driving instructions in the app closely, A nice neighbor helped me figure out the way.

  • Carrie T., Sep 6, 2023

Beautiful area, lots of space for my dogs to run and play. Nice shaded walking areas to use to help my dogs cool down. The play area is down a hill, if taking supplies I would put them in a bag for the walk down, I also brought my own water and bowl, since you don’t have a hose bib near the play area

I'm a middle school teacher so I'm mostly home during the summer. I've got two mixed breed male dogs around 85 lbs.

Hello and welcome to our Sniffspot! We are new to being a Sniffspot host and we hope you enjoy your time here. It's a large, open one acre pasture with plenty of room to run and play. Tall fir trees, farmland and single family homes surround the property. There are neighbors who walk their dogs or play with their dogs in their yards. There are no shared fence-lines but we are noting this in case your dog might be reactive or sensitive to seeing and hearing other dogs and people. Double gated entrance for security. Park along the fence on the gravel drive. Plenty of room for your pup to enjoy the zoomies! A few things below to note, thank you! *For the toys and water bowls, we have labeled bins for 'clean' and 'dirty/used'. Please utilize items from the clean containers and then place in used/dirty so we can thoroughly clean them. Thank you! * The terrain of the pasture does have some dips and there is a section of mown grass, as well as a portion of long pasture grass, and sticks from the fir trees. Wearing solid and/or waterproof shoes will help you navigate the land. *September 2023: we have added 4 sets of string lights to our fence and one spotlight on the far power pole (motion sensor). It adds some brightness to the pasture for evening visitors. Note that since it is an acre lot, there is a portion of the pasture that is still quite dark once the sun is fully set. *There are three chickens on a neighboring fence line and the gate to their henhouse yard has a sign (don't let the chickens out, no matter what they say), as well as a secure gate latch plus bungee cord. They will stay on the far side of their yard, and hide under the shrub/tree cover so are usually not be visible from the Sniffspot pasture, but wanted to share in case this is bothersome to some pup guests. Our rooster, as well as neighborhood roosters, are regularly heard. *please note: this pasture was used for a month (June 2023) by our goats & chickens and so the dirt in areas may be infused with the flavor of goat. While we have cleaned much of it, it can still be tasty to some dogs so wanted you to be aware * due to the burn ban, wildland fires and the dryness of our land, we ask for no smoking on the property at this time, thank you
