We had another great day at the holler. My reactive dog enjoyed roaming the trails on the beautiful spring day. Although one side of the property is open to a couple neighbors we have rarely seen or heard anyone there. Today was no exception: It was very quiet and serene, with only the birds chirping. Since my dog is reactive I do keep him on a long lead when we are on the side of the property by the neighbors. I recommend good walking shoes too and using a walking stick when traversing the woodland trails. On parts of the trails there are loose rocks and sometimes a few roots that can be tripping hazards. I just pick up a large stick on the trail to use as a walking stick and it has help me avoid a fall a few times. Overall, a great Sniffspot that we return to often.
Great spot! My dog spent most of her time sniffing and exploring the trails. It’s a great place to practice recall. The field is spacious for running and playing fetch as well. 😊
We had a fantastic time at The Holler. It was a peaceful, perfect combo of a huge, grassy field and forest paths to explore. My puppy bounded through the grass and trails, while my old dog delighted himself looking for deer scat to eat. I was hoping I was staying in boundary lines, but I didn’t hear any other people or dogs at neighboring properties.I really appreciated the parking sign as well. Thanks for a great visit!
We absolutely loved this spot! So beautiful, well kept, and soooo much room for the pups to run, climb and explore.
Lovely property with plenty of space to roam and sniff!
Had a wonderful time as always. Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us.
Lovely visit as always. We thoroughly enjoy the well-kept field and the trail.
We always enjoy visiting “The Holler”. It’s so quiet and peaceful and my dog really enjoys sniffing and running through the wooded trails. There were are a couple new trails since we last visited which was an added pleasure. There is one side of the property that borders a couple neighbors. I usually keep my dog on a long lead on that side but we’ve never seen another dog and have only on rare occasion seen or heard other people. This is one of our favorite Sniffspots that we return to often!
Gorgeous place!
Our favorite sniff spot - so many great trails and spaces to walk!

I'm a middle school teacher so I'm mostly home during the summer. I've got two hound-mix male dogs around 85 lbs.
