We have a little under an acre of land for your pup(s) to roam. Lots of space to toss a ball, play, run, and sniff. We have multiple gardens, several mature trees that provide lovely shade, a playhouse, playground with slide, firepit, stacked wood, a compost pile, a greenhouse & shed, a sandbox (please don’t allow dog to potty here) and a little dome made out of sticks. We have a covered back porch with chairs and also chairs by the firepit. There is a hose with a filter to fill up the large, silver water bowl that’s near the spigot. Please bring your own poop bags and clean up after your dogs. Feel free to sit/relax wherever you’d like (including on the porch). Your dog is WELCOME to explore anywhere (hoophouse, garden beds, behind the shed/glasshouse). I have treat bags available as an add-on, with high-quality, nutritious treats (all-natural ingredients). We started Sniffspot because our 15.5 year old Chaco loves to sniff where all the doggies have been on walks, but he can no longer take long walks. So we decided to bring the sniffspots to him! Barkov Park (2 acres, fully fenced w/ pond) In Plainfield

**Availability: we only book 2 weeks out so if you don’t see any openings check back 2 weeks out from your desired day.** Enjoy a fully fenced spot (4 foot wire mesh livestock style fencing), run through mowed grass, tall natural meadow (we are “rewilding” a portion of our yard to native plants), two short wooded trails and access to a large pond with dock. Dogs are welcome to swim—bring towels and be prepared for some mud if it’s been raining or you have a pond monster doggy. Woods have wonderful smells, my dogs sometimes find delightful things to roll in. A hose is available for use on warm days. We do have chickens on site and ask you not allow your dog to harass them as you enter and leave (chickens are in a separate fenced area and in a coop/run). My dogs will be in the house—some barking may happen on your arrival but they will not be loose. Wildlife may be encountered (deer, squirrels, crawfish, muskrats, many birds and snapping turtles). **Note: I didn’t want to claim the site as accessible as it is grass and some uneven ground, but feel free to reach out if you need an accommodation to access the spot and we can discuss what is possible** We welcome all.
