Large fully fenced backyard with a gate to our wooded area out back with a creek and trail. It is difficult to walk out back to the trail, but there is access to the neighborhood trail immediately across the house between two houses. Trail is about 1 mile and opens up to three large open areas (not fenced) with a creek that runs alongside much of the trail. Very dog friendly. Please stay off of the deck. Very friendly, passive Dog lives in the house, but may bark at visitors until he meets them. Left side gate is difficult to open, but Right side is easy.

Home to 3 dogs (Griffin 🩶 13.8 years old, Mellow 🖤 11 years old, and Lionel 🤎 5 years old) who know a good sniffing spot when they see one! On August 21, we lost our beloved dog, Griffin 🩶, who spent nearly 14 years enjoying this yard before losing his battle with heart cancer. He was sweet, loyal, strong-headed, and deeply loved. This yard was one of his favorite places to run, play, lounge in the sun, and make memories with our family. We miss him every day and are currently building a memorial in the back left corner of the yard in his honor. Opening our yard to other dogs has become a special way to share the space Griffin loved so much. We like to think he would have been thrilled to welcome new visitors and spend hours catching up on everyone's "smell mail." The yard sits on a half-acre lot with plenty of room for dogs of all energy levels. Whether your pup enjoys sprinting laps, playing fetch, exploring every scent, or simply relaxing in the shade, there's room to do it all. We like to keep the grass short and well-maintained, so we mow and trim regularly, typically once a week and more often during periods of heavy rainfall and rapid growth. We also do our best to stay on top of seasonal insects, bugs, and changing weather conditions to keep the yard as enjoyable as possible. Afternoons and evenings are our favorite times to enjoy the yard. By then, the morning dew has dried, and much of the yard is shaded by the tree canopy, creating a comfortable environment for both people and pets. Even after a heavy rain, the yard generally drains well and dries quickly, with very little mud. On cooler evenings, it's a peaceful place to relax, listen to the sounds of nature, and watch dogs enjoy the freedom of the open space.
