Description
Dogs must be currently licensed, vaccinated and over the age of four (4) months. You will need to provide proof of licensing upon request by any City official. Bring no more than three (3) dogs into the Boneyard at any one time. Use the appropriate area(s) of the Boneyard (“Small/Timid” or “Large”). Pick up and properly dispose of your dog’s feces both in and around the Boneyard. Remain with your dog(s) at all times. You are solely responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or damage caused by your dog. Do not bring a dog with a known communicable disease. Do not bring a dog in heat. Do not bring an aggressive dog. Your dog must be restrained by a substantial chain or leash not exceeding six (6) feet in length except while inside the fenced areas of the Boneyard. Remove any pronged, spiked or choke collar from the dog prior to entry. Children twelve (12) years of age and younger are not permitted in the Boneyard unless accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. Do not bring strollers, carriages, baby carriers, bicycles, skateboards, scooters, children’s toys, food, dog toys, dog treats or dog food into the park. No other animals are allowed into the park. No person shall conduct any activity which may be or create an immediate danger to the public’s health, safety and welfare. Such activity must cease immediately when asked to do so by a City official. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not permitted in the park. Do not enter or use the Boneyard when it is closed. You are not allowed to operate or conduct a business within the park, unless permitted by the City. No chemicals. Ever. 🌱 This yard is completely fertilizer-free and pesticide-free — nothing sprayed, nothing treated, ever. If your dog is a grazer, has allergies, or is sensitive to what's underfoot, they can sniff, roll, and nibble to their heart's content without you having to wonder what they're picking up. Easy to find, even easier to love: enter on the right side of the house and look for the Sniffspot sign. The gate is one of the smoothest you’ll ever use — seriously, it’s a delight. Morning visits are especially magical. The sun is gentle, the vibe is peaceful, and street parking is usually a breeze. Street sweeping is 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays on my side of the street and Wednesdays on the opposite side, so please check the signs when you park. One honest heads-up, because I’d rather you know before you book: our neighbors have dogs on the other side of the fence. You won’t see them, but you may hear an occasional bark. Most pups settle right in and forget all about it — and if your dog needs extra buffer, mornings tend to be the quietest. 🐕 There’s a water spigot on site to keep your pup hydrated. Just turn it on slowly so you don’t end up wetter than your dog! 💧 We also have a self-service pool on site if your pup wants to cool off! It’s not pre-filled — you’re welcome to fill it yourself (it takes about 10 minutes to fill completely). Please drain it after use and give it a quick rinse so it’s fresh for the next sniffer!
