55Fun first play date in a beautiful open space! Clean, good variety of areas to explore. We will be back!
55My pup loved the variety of terrain he could sniff through and play in! Everything was clearly marked and easy to find with the instructions. Everything matched the description in the posting. It was so wonderful to be able to see my dog have zoomies in such a large space!
55Nice spot just 5 min from our house which is great. I came prepared after reading notes and reviews and just stayed away from the edges of the property where there wasn't real fencing. There's still tons of space to throw the ball as far as you can which made my dogs happy. Although we did lose a couple of the balls to tall grass. Overall a good spot that we will definitely come back to.
55Absolutely beautiful spot to take your dog(s). The tree was mesmerizing! It’s very peaceful and quiet. Lots of space to play fetch. Host even provided fresh water! it’s just perfect.
55So much space for dogs to run. My 1 year old Golden retriever loved exploring, zooming and fetching his ball. You can Chuck the ball as far as the “Chuck it” allows. The host had a nice clean bowl of water set out which was so thoughtful! We will be back!
55Dogs had so much fun running around and exploring. The bottom half of the property had standing water/pond like area that two of my dogs just had a blast running through. It was very cute to watch them get the zoomies through the area.
55Great spot!
55The dogs had a great time running and exploring the property! The back side is definitely marshy coming out of wet Washington winters, so bring your boots and a towel to dry the dogs off, and plan on a bath that day. But what's a little mud for an hour of running fun! The place is partially fenced, with areas that dogs could get out if you had a runner with no recall, but it's so wide open you're able to easily recall your dogs before getting out of the spot. We really enjoyed our hour there, wandering the beautiful property and allowing our dogs to just be dogs!

Fencing

Enclosure

Partially Fenced

Fencing details: There is a section near our entry gate that is not fenced; the steep incline there acts as somewhat of a natural barrier for preventing dogs from exiting the property, however, a determined canine could still get out if motivated to do so.

Description

Partially fenced open space with barn, silo, fruit trees. Tall grass, brush, blackberry bushes, and swampy wetlands create a natural border to our property where there isn't a fence. A small section near the driveway is not fenced. Parking available by the barn/silo. Please note that the ENTIRE property is available for your dogs to play, run and sniff. There are two residences on the property (our blue-gray house and a large, detached pale yellow garage with MIL); the yard extends southward all the way around both buildings on the Eastside. Feel free to roam and explore! **NOTE: There is an overhead photo of our property in the photos section of our SS profile that can help you see the boundaries, find the hose, toys, poop bags, etc. **

Cleanliness

96% of guests said this spot was as clean as expected during their visit.

Hazards

** We are frequently visited by groups of Canada geese throughout the year. As a result, there will be goose droppings on our property. ** There is plenty of uneven ground, blackberry bushes, and stinging nettles (in season). The lower (eastern) part of our property can be quite wet and swampy 9 months out of the year, so plan your footwear accordingly--we recommend rain boots or hiking boots and a towel for your dog(s). Our tenant has a handicapped dog, which will not be outside unless there is an emergency. You may hear our neighbors' dogs barking from a distance in their fenced yards. We also have honeybee brood boxes on the northern edge of our property. **We no longer have chickens; their former yard is still on property and closed off from dogs entering.**

We recently bought this beautiful, peaceful property and would like to share it with pups and their owners. We currently do not have any dogs of our own, but are canine friendly :-)
