Description

Private 2,400 sq ft fully fenced backyard in Louisville with mature trees, lots of shade, and direct access from the back gate to miles of on-leash trails and open space. This is a quiet, natural Colorado backyard with room for dogs to sniff, explore, play, and decompress away from a busy public dog park. The yard has a mix of dirt, mulch, mature landscaping, trees, and a large deck for humans to relax while dogs enjoy the space. One of the best features is the south-facing back gate, which opens directly to the public trail system. You can enjoy private yard time first, then leash up and head straight out for a longer walk without getting back in the car. The yard is fully fenced at approximately 6 feet, with mostly wood privacy fencing and a wood-framed wire section along the open-space side. Because the rear fence is partially see-through, you may occasionally see or hear walkers, cyclists, dogs, or wildlife on the trail. The area is generally quiet and trail traffic is usually light, depending on the time of day. My resident dog will remain inside the house during your visit and will not share the yard with guests, although she may occasionally be heard from inside. Street parking is available in front of the property and throughout the neighborhood. Guests enter through the west-side gate and may leave through the same gate or use the back gate for direct trail access.

Please make sure all gates are securely latched when entering and leaving. Pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in the designated bin. Dogs must remain supervised at all times. Please do not allow dogs to dig in garden areas or damage plants/fencing. No excessive barking out of consideration for neighbors. This is a private residential yard, so please remain within the designated backyard area during your visit. Resident and boarding dogs may be present inside the home during your visit, but they will not share the yard with Sniffspot guests.k

Accessibility note: Waffles Ranch includes an upper grassy area with shade and seating, accessible by stairs. Dogs with mobility limitations or joint issues may prefer to remain in the lower pasture. (We are working on solutions to make this more accessible for all pups!) We're always making improvements and would love your feedback as Waffles Ranch continues to grow.
