Enjoy time at Charlotte's Run, affectionately called the (Foster) Puppy Farm, where many of the dogs rescued by our 501(c)3 animal welfare nonprofit, Mr. Bones & Co., rehabilitate and decompress before finding forever homes. We have a fully fenced in yard. We do have two indoor cats and one outdoor cat that stays off the property for the most part and knows to hide from dogs if needed in our garage, we have our GSD Sammy, who I can always put inside to prevent any cross play. You can use our bathroom facilities if needed and we will provide water for the pets if needed. Please note we do have a neighbor that has two huskies and a mixed breed. They are usually leashed on the lead, but they are very, very friendly and all they do is really bark when our dog is outside they never tried to hop the fence. (They usually have play dates with our dog) the only time our dogs hop the fence is if they see something in the backwoods area like a wolf or a coyote or a bear (usually late at night) any questions? You can park anywhere. If you feel comfortable you can drive down to the lower field to get even further away from the road. I live down the street while I am fixing up the old house. So, there maybe someone at work in the house. Once you park, the best walking is down to the creek. Go to the lower field and look for the opening in the woods. 150yards from field is the creek. On a hot day, wear good creek shoes and walk up and down creek. If you cross the creek there is a great trail that circles around to the Powerline. Warnings: 1. there are lots of deer! 2. There are old barns. Do Not enter any of the buildings! They are very dangerous!!!! I have rescued reactive dogs. I want to create a safe space for your dogs and you to enjoy this great property.
