Acre Pond Homestead — 14-Acre Woodland, Meadow, & Swimming Pond Dog Retreat

🌿🐾 Welcome to Acre Pond Homestead — a private 14-acre retreat where you and your dog(s) can get away from it all, stretch your legs, and enjoy the outdoors together! 🚗 Private Parking: At the end of the driveway on the left as soon as you pull in. 🐾 14 private acres to explore that includes: 💦 1-acre swimming pond 🌾 3 acres of open field 🌳 8-acre forested exploration area 🌲 1-mile marked walking trail through the woods 🐾 Roam Zones: Any of the grassy or wooded areas. There’s a cleared trail through the woods that is marked with green reflective arrows beginning at the back corner of the pond. Our property line is marked by a stone wall, so as long as you stay on our side of the wall, you’re good to go. 🪨🌿 🚫 No-Roam Zones: While exploring, please keep curious noses away from the tasty snacks in the garden 🥕 and the area immediately around the house. 🏡 🎾 Don’t forget to grab the Chuckit! or any other essentials you may need from our Borrow Bin in the Parking Area. Welcome to Pawadise! Our dog resort features two fully-fenced acres, and 8 acres of nature trails that connect to miles and miles of public trails in Winchester. At the end of the public trails there are large open fields. Our fenced play yard contains tunnels, climbing rocks and playgrounds, a bone-shaped dog pool, and more! 200+ toys to play with, featuring rubber balls, plushies, flirt poles and tug toys. The area is lit by ambient hanging lights at night, and has an optional fire pit. The play area is 100% fenced in, and safe for even small dogs to be off leash. We inspect the perimeter daily. We have a trainer on-site for any training training sessions you'd like to add-on. We can help you hit the trails with confidence with some off-leash and recall training. We also offer group hikes, sitting, and daycare services.

Ample room to run or take a swim. Bring your own frisbee, balls etc and romp away. The pavilion provides shelter from hot sun or sudden showers. Enjoy beaver, heron, bald eagle sightings….pack a picnic and relax w your furry best friend by the side of Wappingers Creek in the hamlet of salt point. Park is winterized so bathrooms/available Mid May-October.

This is an active Equine training facility. We are offering access to our indoor arena. 180’x80’ space and lots of obstacles. You will have to meet me and walk your leash dog through the barn to get into the indoor but once you are inside, you will be alone with your dog in the space. Message for times and availability. I realize the calendar says we are booked 24/7, but if you contact me, we can find a time that works for both of us. We also have a huge field available; you can find this under our other location.
