Welcome to Ruka’s House! We have big plans for this area. For now, it’s just a lovely open field. We hope you have the best time with your pups. Be mindful of the equipment on the property. You are welcome to sit on the swing chair and use the entire space. 6 laps around the field is 1 mile so you can get your steps in! Feedback is encouraged on what you’d like to see here. Treat your pup to the ultimate off-leash adventure just minutes from Langtree Rd and exits 31–33. This fully fenced, spacious 1 acre sniffspot offers your dog the freedom to run, fetch, and explore. Feel free to use any of the provided dog toys including balls with a launch stick, frisbee, or toys. Or just simply relax in the hammock or the shaded table and chairs while your pets run around and explore within the fully fenced 1 acre area. Fresh water with hose, and convenient parking are all on-site. Come sniff, play, and stay awhile! PLEASE NOTE: Durning winter months Nov thru Feb, We shut Off the water faucet on the back side of property to avoid the pipe from freezing. We recommend bringing your own water for your pup(s). My apologies for any inconvenience. Thank you!

Silent H Acres In Morganton

Silent H Acres is almost an acre fenced spot for your dog to go sniffing, running, fetching, and discovering. There are toys to play with (frisbees, tug rope, tennis balls, etc) and sticks to fetch. The grass ranges from 2” mowed, to 4” natural, up to about 12+ inches. A smattering of trees and two sitting areas for you - the gray Adirondack chairs are a bit too heavy to move, but feel free to move the red ones anywhere you would like. ***We will be adding a couple of agility exercise areas for your dog in the next few days. Toward the front of the field, I have mowed a curvy type of track in case you want to work on guided leash training. For you, we will keep a track around the perimeter of the fence mowed so you can use it for a walking track. PLEASE NOTE, the electric fence is DISCONNECTED. Welcome to our private backyard that has trees all around, a large back yard to run in with amenities for dogs that are sure to have a good time! Conveniently located in downtown Huntersville.

The Canine Traveler

This Sniffspot is a fully fenced property (our home is inside the fence) with hills, bumpy terrain, sticks galore, piles of limbs, well dug holes by our lovely golden and pyrenees, and tons of open space. Please watch your step. When entering, you can park in the carport, gravel driveway, or even in the grass. You can use the grass to turn around in as well. You will close the gate right at the road during your entire stay. You can leave the gate open as you leave for our next visitor. We will not be visible during your visit and you will be the only occupants at your scheduled time. Trash & Amenities: The trash can and other amenities are inside the carport and at the picnic table in the back near the bamboo forest. Dog Library: We have a new dog library near the bamboo that we will stock with toys, sticks, bags, and goodies. Seating: We have a table and four chairs in the bamboo/shaded area in the very back if you would like to have a picnic off the ground. In addition, we have a bench inside the carport. There are two fold up chairs in the carport if you would like to use them anywhere on the property. Fences: Our Great Pyrenees and Golden Retriever have never escaped or tried to jump it and that is a win for a Pyrenees! We have wire and split rail fencing with wire. Wildlife: You may see turtles, snakes, rabbits, deer, ground hogs and squirrels. Grounds: The property around the home has never been graded so it is hilly and lumpy so be careful where you step. You can see holes dug in the yard from dogs. It is fine if they dig. We also had pipes going to a garden years ago so if you see them, don't worry! They are half buried and half exposed. Water: You have access to our well and water bowls. We also have a kiddie pool if you would like to use it. Wifi: We have wifi and outdoor outlets in the carport.

The Old Goats Farm

Several fenced in spaces, depending on needs of your pet. We have some farm animals thate are safely fenced in seperate areas, but able to meet through the fence! They include: Goats, Donkey, Pig, Geese, Ducks, Chickens, Cats, and occasionally a chicken or three!
