55My foster Sadie enjoyed the quiet space! We will be back for sure to work on her leash skills and confidence, and hopefully stay out of the sticker bushes! Katy is a wonderful Sniffspot host!
55We enjoyed a wonderful fur family evening at Maple Valley Romp and Roam! My 5 month old puppy and 9 year old Senior took off running in the acreage the second I took them off their leashes and they roamed, sniffed and fetched long range for the full hour. I didn’t bring treats so couldn’t lure them through the set up agility course but next time I won’t forget. My puppy will live the little splash pool on hot days. The sunset added a really nice feeling to the evening. Afterwards, we hit Crocket’s Public House for a delicious post-Sniffspot dinner. What a nice night!
55We had a great time. My pups tried the agility equipment for the first time, and there was lots of space for fetch. Very clean and well-appointed. Thanks!
55Well maintained, clean, safe environment. Plenty of room to run. Kind host and peaceful environment.
55Lovely spot. Great layout for meandering around, working on confidence building with agility equipment, and playing fetch.
55Great first experience! Host communicated very well and answered all questions. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Dogs had a great time running through the large field and playing in the water a bit.
55Love love love this spot. It's clean and has everything we need during our stay such as, toys, sanitizer and clean bowls etc. The host Katy did above and beyond and makes the visit extra special. Even provided popsicles for both our dogs and us :)
55Still my dogs favorite place to go!
55Pool time! Ares had a blast!
55Beautiful space. Plenty of room for zoomies.

Description

**Maple Valley Romp-N-Roam can only be booked 2 weeks in advance by non-members if hours are available. **To ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience, please read the entire description of the property, fencing details and my property rules.** *Bookings with multiple dogs- For every 2 dogs beyond 4, an additional adult is required. This helps to ensure the property remains poop-free. Our completely fenced 1.3 acre Sniffspot and completely fenced property perimeter gives you peace of mind that your pups are safe and secure as you let them play and explore. With a gently sloping pasture for running, trees and stumps for exploring, and low-level agility equipment to build confidence on, your fur baby is sure to find something that sparks their interest. When the temps start reaching 80°, the kiddie pool will come out to refresh your pup's paws! The pool will be filled on these hot days sometime between 10:00 and noon and emptied every evening. If you would like a fresh fill for your pup(s) visit, filled for a morning visit or on a day that temps are below 80°, please add it as an "extra" for $6. If we are unable to offer fresh fills on a particular day, the "extra" toggle will be disabled.  Although completely fenced, supervision is always recommended. Refer to property map for details and don't forget to read our property rules. Security cameras are in use. I look forward to hosting you and your dogs!

Cleanliness

Hazards

Uneven ground in some areas. Moles are always a problem. Feel free to kick dirt into mole holes to fill them as they could pose a trip hazard for your dog. I try and pick up fallen tree branches but sometimes they hide in tall grass areas. Wild blackberry vines are low to the ground and can pose a trip hazard. Please use caution when walking. Wear appropriate shoes in the wet months. Elk and deer poo are possible at certain times of the year. Some dogs love the stuff, others are indifferent. Please be advised. Agility equipment can be hazardous if not used safely. We suggest checking out YouTube videos or consulting a trainer for some great suggestions on how to use them. We have one area (shown on map) where neighbor dogs and people might be seen. I've added privacy screening in this area to help keep distractions and fence meetings at a minimum. Please don't allow dogs to jump on the privacy screening. We are in the country. Animals we have seen on the property in spite of our 5' perimeter fencing include bear, deer, bobcat, eagles, coyotes and a variety of smaller chase-worthy critters. Although these are not common sightings, it's something to be aware of. Small dogs should be watched closely. Even keep an eye to the sky.

Dog Nirvana in Maple Valley - 10 plus acres fully fenced!

Dog Nirvana is open for booking a few days in advance so if you see it closed just check back a few days prior and if time is available it will be open to book. Slots typically open 1 to 3 days in advance. Come enjoy yourself in the country! We have over 10 fully fenced acres that include two spring-fed private ponds for dogs that like the water, some slight hills for running and playing, lots of wide open space and a beautiful creek. There will be no dogs, people or animals outside on my property during your visit. Please just bring your own toys and pick up after your dogs. I look forward to welcoming you! * The entire 10+ acre perimeter of the property is steel mesh fencing with poles and/or steel mesh fencing in horse fencing to keep the entire perimeter secure and safe. PLEASE NOTE there are TWO FENCING SYSTEMS here -- the internal pastures that are fenced in 3 rail white fencing and the perimeter fencing which consists of steel mesh to the ground and large log poles and/or 3 rail fencing with steel mesh down to the ground. The pasture fencing is located INSIDE of the separate property perimeter fencing. If a dog runs under the white interior pasture fencing they are still secured within the perimeter system. * The front gate and a service gate are metal with horizontal rails with 6.5 inches between each rail. Smaller dogs could potentially get out through the rails. A picture of the gate is included in listing photos so that guests can assess whether the gate will be an issue for them so they can determine whether this property will be appropriate for their pup(s). * This property is pretty secluded. Two sides of the property are surrounded by conservation land (woods), one by a quiet neighborhood road (with the only house set back and not visible while on my property) and the fourth (above the house and barn) by 60 acres in two parcels. The neighbors ' horses might be seen in the distance along the upper side of my property and you might hear their dogs barking from several acres away periodically. * Several pastures have covered horse sheds in them that can be used by visitors for shelter from rain or sun. * There is a dog dish for water, a container of water, poop bags and several garbage cans for doggie poop bags! * If you bring additional guests with pups PLEASE make sure they are aware of all information/rules shared in the listing and via message by the host. * Carey Creek runs along the entire south side of the lowest pasture. It is fully useable for guests. it is on my property but outside of our secure fences so if you go out the gates at the bottom of the property to get to the creek you should leash up if your dog has poor recall. * We have access across the road from the property to 1800 + acres with 30 miles of trails on Taylor Mountain (King County Park) so make it a day and come enjoy our little slice of heaven!
