They can dig in the sandbox or dirt pile (or wherever else they would like), walk on the meandering mowed paths, climb the gigantic tree branch, cool off in the kiddie pool, hop around on the stack of straw bales, sniff the local plants, flowers and grasses, play games with their favorite person on the mowed playing field, or take a nap in the sun (or shade if you come in the beginning of the day). Come try it out. We think this is the place your dog would ask to visit if they could talk.

90 minute time slot. We have an open 70 acres surrounding a private pond with a trail thru the fields and woods around nature. The time allotment is 90 minutes only. We ask that our guests park by the barn and go straight to the lake then to the left around the lake. Trails are marked. It is about a 1 mile trail or more. trails are not plowed open in the winter but are perfect for snow shoeing, hiking an fat tire bikes in the snow on the trails or perfect spring to fall on the maintained trails.

Happy Hounds is a big, fully-fenced (6ft) yard perfect for fetch and exercise. We offer toys, dog treats, seating for humans, and plenty of space for off-leash zoomies! A "puppy pool" (kiddie pool) is available upon request (May through August) at no extra cost. We wash all toys and water dishes and disinfect human-handled surfaces and seating between each visit. The property is under 4 acres in a residential rural community. There is lots of unfenced yard as well as a mostly fenced pasture (electric fence is NOT on). Would work best for dogs that need to run or play that listen to their owner and are not likely to run off as the fencing was designed to keep livestock in the pasture, not dogs. Just had the pasture mowed down but mosquitoes can still get aggressive when there is no breeze so you may want to apply insect repellent.
